Got the idea for this in biology today, but I only had a stupid red pen. Was meant to have swords or something, but I was stuck for ideas.

Well, tell me what software you're using, and I'll have a trudge through the interweb. Personally, I find trial and error the best way to get to know a new medium, but that can frequently turn out disasterously.

Well forrow, I can't give much advice, as I've never owned or used a tablet, (pencils work just as well if you ask me), but photoshop is supposed to be one of the most user friendly programs that can be used with a tablet, and their site has some useful tutorials.

Why yes, I was! And I had another two hours of biology to whittle away today, so here's the result! I think it came out alright considering I used a really blunt pencil.
