Help me please. I got a new PC, which is alot faster than my old. But the problem: When I want to save a FLP-file, Fruity loops freezes and don't work anymore. So I can't do anything then close FL. But then the files are corrupted.
What can I do so so that the CPU doesn't goes to 50% (at this rate FL freeze)

This should probably be in the FL Questions topic, but since its here, I would reckon its your CPU, or possibly your RAM, but that wouldn't make too much sense. So a few things, first, tell us the specificatrions of your computer..
CPU:
GPU:
RAM:
VIRTUAL MEMORY:
IS YOUR HD COMPRESSED?:
VERSION OF FL:
And finally, VERSION OF WINDOWS:
The last one is just to be safe.

And finally, VERSION OF WINDOWS:

Just a question...How many other programs do you have running in your memory?
Because you have slightly better specs than me, and my CPU meter barely goes over 5%...WITH a fully loaded flp.

Just a burning program, my firewall and my antivirus.
All together have 0% CPU.

Well, two things, your GPU is your graphics processing unit, not your motherboard. It would make a difference in the overall power of your computer, the second is about your HD, just because its new doesn't mean its compressed, when you compress your HD, it should work perfectly normal, but it frees up a bunch of gigs of memory. HOWEVER, if your harddrive IS compressed, then it can create problems with games, and writing new files and transferring files and whatnot. Try defragging your computer, then try again.

No, they will not, I gained 20 gigs from compressing. And since you have a new asus motherboard you should have a good video card, a PCI Ex If I'm not mistaken

I'd say re-install window to get all the crap off of your hard drive. That or simply your computer doesn't have the available resources to cope with FL running

I've compressed my HDD and it also don't work. That's hypergay!
I changed the priority of the flp files at audio settings always at normal, not high.
But nothing works. That's not normal...
And now the names of all my files on the HDD are blue instead of black.
Please, what does I make wrong. I've reinstalled FL6 2 times and it still doesn't work fine.

I have a NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GS.
Why is a good video card so important for my problem?
@ Carbo: I'm a PC owner.

I think I solved the problem I changed the compable modus of FL from Windows 2000 to Windows 98. And it saves without getting freezed.
I hope so :P
