The reason the media is liberal is because most of the people attracted to such an occupation are liberal and went to liberal colleges.

And for reference there is a big difference between a democrat and a liberal (same as conservative and republican. To be liberal you only have to want change, being a democrat is much more complicated. So everybody when you talk about stations being liberal or conservative, know that if a person says "ooo I want more oil" it doesnt neccesaserily make them a conservative but does mean thier probably republican.
