I've been seeing a lot of Bible/Religion bashing lately, and I don't really care for it. I don't go out of my way to mock another religion, and I'd prefer the same treatment.

But what gets me really mad is when you're all "lol bible iz not a f4ct" and shit like that.

I just wonder, what is your reasoning? Why are you saying this? Do you think it makes you look cool, or rebellious, or original? Well, truth is, it only makes you look like a fucking dumbass.

So I'll leave your beliefs alone, but in return I'd like the same respect. Or at least some proper reasoning for insulting a religion.

Actually they are true, no religion is really based in what one would traditionally consider fact. That is why they are faith based beleifs.

I'm agnostic so I got no problem with christianity as long as nobody walks up to be and yells at me "YOU WILL BURN IN HELL!!!"

I am of the belief that religion was created for the sake of money. If someone wishes to believe that their faith was ignited with a supernatural being and a karma-reliant afterlife, then fair enough. In exchange, I wish to believe that it's a giant scam intended to generate revenue.

As long as neither party attempts to persuade the other otherwise, then everything is fine.

Religion was around long before what you would call money was created...seems more to originally be a way of explaining so much of the unknown way back when we still lived in little caves and painted ox and such on the walls for fun...
