I have never for the life of me, ever had to really drink coffee for such a reason as programming. I can typically stay awake for extremely long periods of time however, so that might offer some explanation.
And on the previous note, I generally rate functionality and clarity above efficiency, as they are generally much more important in all but extreme cases (but you should all know that by now, as I've been preaching that point on this forum for quite a while.)
omg.

You should try it. After about the fifth cup, you get more used to it.

I can't drink coffee anymore. I get too jittery and I'm an insomniac as it is most of the time due to other factors. Once in a while I'll go to Starbucks and get a "tall" frapuccino but that's it. I may get one today because I'll be in that direction (big field trip to staples & walmart for office supplies, woohoo - not!).

Coffee makes my brain happy for a while
But after 5-6 cups I get twitchy, and amusingly easily distracted
Hey, I'm casting a shadow! How cool is that

Hey here's an add on on the hillarious post with the "shoot yourself in the foot".. :P (sorry if i ruined it)
Brainfuck
You can't understand what a gun is or what bullets are so you just stand there like a zoombie.
XML
You draw perfect instructions on how to build the gun, but you have nothing to put it togheter with.
HTML
You build the gun and the bullets by yourself, but there's nothing to pull the trigger with.
Actionscript
You shoot yourself in the foot through a chair.
GML
There are no functions to shoot yourself in the foot, nor can you make one, so you decide to write a DLL in C++ for it but then you don't know wich foot you are going to shoot.
ASP
The bullet was terminated before you managed to pull the trigger.

I knew I had read it somewhere!

K, I might be a little late, but while answering someones question in a thread I came up with this:
My language is PHP, my database is MySQL, and my card is American Express.
You won't really get that unless you've seen the American Express commercial with Ellen.
