Japanese sword

I'm looking to buy a Japanese sword (samurai sword, katana, whichever name suits you). But, I don't know where to look. So, I was hoping Newgrounds would help me find a good sword.

My standards include:

-Nothing expensive.
-A good-quality sword. One that will be able to withstand battle against another sword. (>.>)

If you need more description on my second standard and you have seen the movie Kill Bill Vol. 1 where she is fighting a hoard of guys in the bar and when she hits her sword with another guy's sword, his breaks in two, I do not want this type of thing happening.

Japanese swords are ok to me. I do have a love for the European swords though, I'd have to agree that they better suit my tastes.

I also love cavalry sabres and rapiers. Those would have to be my personal favorites when it comes to swords.

BTW, next time you need to know about ANYTHING martial arts related, post in the NG Martial Arts Club. Not trying to be insulting to most NG users, but a lot of them genuinely can't tell the difference between a good sword vs. a cheap wall-hanger with a chrome blade.

Because a Katana/Dai-Katana could tottally Pwn a Broad sword or Claymore anyday. Katanas are ligheter weight and more agile I could strike you down before you know what hit you if I has a katana.

That is true, very true. I still love the braodswords and claymores though.

However, my blade of choice would be a rapier or cavalry sabre. They are rather agile, and they also give the European flair that I so desire.

Anyways, I'm more of a firearms type of guy, but if wielding a katana could score me points with Japanese girls, I'd wield it. I need all of the points that I can get, I'm black.

Well You won't find onelike that, your specificatoins cancel each other out , and Good luck Finding a Muramasa (Swordmaker) Forging of katana is considered a Lost art. Unless you are willing to pay big, the rumor goes you get what you Pay for.

Well, you can't simply have a good quality sword that isn't expensive. A good quality sword would be over $1,000... Unless you want a decorative sword. Then you can get one for$50 in any chinatown.
