the iraqis execute and torture POWs. (which definitly goes against international law)
and guess what the iraqis are gonna do to the FEMALE soldiers they capture. i hope someone remembers Rhonda Cornum (gulf war 1).

I understand where you're coming from, but I think that's a little extreme. Don't worry. When this war is over, all of those war criminals will get what's coming to them (if they don't get killed in combat). Don't make the POWs victims of the government that some of them are trying to escape.

are some of you saying that we should torture our POWs because our own soldiors are getting tortured when they are captured?

Actual physical torture is NEVER an option.
Sleep deprivation, lights, hoses, but never actual violence. That's something you don't do to prisoners, for any reason.

True, we shouldn't kill victims of the Iraqi regime, but we should squeeze information out of high ranking Iraqi officials. There is a strong presence of Al-Quida operatives in Iraq. Did you know that they found a large picture of lower Manhattan with the trade towers in one of the Iraqi hideouts south of Basara? I don't know about you but that freaks me out.
