Hi Guys!
Okay I've just hit on a problem, okay well first off, I've just begun playing around with the mastering settings for a new track, in Fruity Loops, now the problem I'm having has occurred primarily because... well basically I started mastering my track, all was beginning to take shape and kinda sound how it should sound.
The problem I have is that my hardway, has EQ presets on, ie; bass boost etc...
Now if I continue to master my track with one of these presets, it will mean that noone else will hear the track quite how it has been intended
Okay so I've turned all hardware to neutral, and now the track I'm mastering, unsurprisingly sounds totally different
What I need to know is, is there a way to reset all the mastering in, Fruity Loops? so I can start from scratch
I know I perhaps should have saved a none mastered version, prior to beginning with the mastering
Oh wells!
Please can somebody be so kind as to help me out with this predicament?
Thanks
Peace Out!

by reset if you mean turn off, you can click the green light beside the equalizer, and it should turn it off completely. You could also click on the arrow beside the equalizer and click "Remove" or "Nothing" one of those two I think it's called, to remove it.

Thanks MaestroRage
Yeah I wanna reset everything back to the state it was in prior to mastering
I've tried to have a look for that arrow, I just can't see it!

Set all presets to "Default". I'd not reccomend mastering in fl though, it simply doesn't have enough good tools (To come with that is) :P use Wave Lab or something for that.
And also....Use a spectrum analyzer to see how any inaudiable frequencies behave.
IE: If you have a suspicious bass boost at 20HZ but your own speaker set can't go that low, that means I could prolly not listen to ur track since my own speakers go below 20 hz.
A spectrum is one of your best friends when mastering ;) (Always put it last in the chain too. "If you put 1 first too you can see the difference in frequency ranges of your mastering")

Are you sure FL's not that well equiped, sorry not that I'm questioning you at all, but it seems, to me to be very well equiped, and from what I can gather from questions I've posed, and answers given, i've been reccommended using FL for mastering
but will possibly bare your suggestion in mind, should I find that the tools I'm using aren't doing me any justice at all
erm I think my speakers go below 20hz how do I tell?

Listen to a really freakin' low sine wave bass going at 20 Hz.

If you have been recomended I'd really want to hear what "recomended" mastering plugins you use ;-).

Well It came fully loaded with some kind of mastering tools (I think) not too sure!
besides I'd rather not have to fork out anymore costs for software at the moment, Wavelab is pretty costly isn't it?
I kinda figured that if FL comes with these mastering tools, then well they must do a semi decent job! mustn't they?
