Why doesn't America sell them weapons, America recieves by far the biggest chunk of Iraqi oil.

It may be misleading to just say "the Russians", because it wasn't the government that sold the weapons, but a company from inside Russia that is believed to have sold the weapons/equipment.
It is still a violation of UN Sanctions, and I guess stopping this sort of thing is something the Russian government will have to work out.
Personally, I can't blame the Russian government for this, unless it comes out that the company was a front for them or something like that. American goods (such as cigarettes) have found their way into Iraq despite sanctions - this seems a lot less severe than military equipment, but both are still examples of companies bypassing their respective nation's sanctions.

Immoral global sanctioning is the extreme opposite of capitalism and free-market forces. Just shows how feck'd up America is to say "WE will liberate Iraq from sanctions"
ie. Operation Iraqi Liberation

Speaking of fake news, I heard Englad just surrendered to the IRA, and the country is now in control of the new Prime Minister Teddy McGuiness.
I figured you would've heard about that, Slizor, since you seem to be the king of BS.

no government can be laissez-faire enough to let companies violate international law

I've heard you repeat this claim a couple of times NEMESiSZ. I think you are wrong - if what you are stating is that the U.S. doesn't receive any Iraqi oil. The U.S. is Iraq's biggest customer for oil. They get it through the food-for-oil program.

Be that as it may, Iraq is #8 on the US's list of countries the US purchases the most oil from, i've said this about a dozen times now. #1 and #2 are Canada and Venezuela respectively.
Just goes to show how much oil we actually consume(or steal away for ourselves)

Ahh good old Vlad... Don't you all pretend now that a few insignificant weapons are going to turn the tide. Maybe now though the US grunts will have a little more of a sporting challenge ahead of them.

You're wrong, Europe gets oil from Iraq, the USA gets oil only from South America, Saudi Arabia, and itself.

Well, that's why we're over there. We're going to free up some new oil interest for independent contractors to start up again. Oh, Big Busine$$ is a great thing to have behind the big guns of war.

You may have heard of them the "C.I.A.". I hear they're kind of big in America.

Too bad you can't scroll down to see it says "Exports - Oil" "Export partners - America!" Also I think this has something on it http://www.observer.co.uk/international/story/0,6903,882512,00.html
Not that I can be bothered to look.

In December 1999 the UN Security Council authorized Iraq to export under the program as much oil as required to meet humanitarian needs. Oil exports are now more than three-quarters prewar level. However, 28% of Iraq's export revenues under the program are deducted to meet UN Compensation Fund and UN administrative expenses.
Wow. This might explain why the UN has been draggin their heels on the Iraq issue. Maybe they don't think they'll get such a sweetheart deal this time around.

It doesn't. You failed to make the distinction between UN the organisation and the countries involved in the UN(specifically the Security Council.) The countries involved in the UN have been "dragging their heels" not UN the organisation.

He's not man enough to admit when he's wrong.
Either that or he's just trying to get a rise out of people by making blatantly false posts.
