The Official Sketchbook Thread!

Rules:

1. Do not post shit art.
Do you think you sketch is good enough to be posted here? Did you work hard on your peice, or is it something you made in four minutes? Make sure you've been practicing and improving before you post here.

2. Tracing and copying.
If you trace or copy artwork, please state who the original artist is. Copying art is for studying only. You must give credit to the original artist. You cannot copy someone else's art, make a few changes, and call it your own.

3. Criticism is welcome.
Please learn how to give and receive criticism. Try being as constructive as possible. Don't post comments such as "I don't like the hair", or "She is ugly!".

I have a shitload of notebook sketches from sitting in school this year. I think one of these days I should scan them all in and make them into a gallery SWF file. Here's one that's been posted in two topics... And I just realized today that I forgot one of the characters in this pic... And yes, I know what Fetish means. That's intentional, despite not looking like it from the picture.

Mine? Yeah, I often draw the eyes as full ovals, then make an eyelids cut them in half... You think I should omit parts of the eye by cutting part of the oval off instead of just cutting it in half? Could use a little criticism here... Thanks in advance.

And to the guy who says they all look like hedgehogs, it's noticably different from Sonic style. It has a couple of similarities, but they're most different. Not to mention human characters in Sonic (or at least Sonic Adventure) looks like standard anime characters. I don't even consider mine anime, much less Sonic style.

Still learning some with the Wacom. I'm finally able to get normal shapes down to form busts and so forth.
