Because it's innovative and different, unlike the same consoles we've seen for 3 generations?

Where the hardware is cheaper and the Wii can't support as much detail or HD as the other two consoles can, if you look at the games, that's not much of a problem because they still look really danm "awesome".

The Wii also makes up for this by having a different style of gameplay incorporated directly into the console so it makes it easier for developers to make some innovative games as well as traditional. It's not a matter of better or worse, it's just preference in gameplay and style.

Well Dobio you have to know that half the people that play games on this site are so ignorant into what they spew out of their mouth about them its silly.

Anyway, I did not preorder a Wii but my friend and I's hope is that there will be more than enough consoles at launch that being said we will still be infront of a BestBuy at 6 in the morning.

It's only going to cost me 270 dollars canadian, including taxes. It's an extremely good price for a new system. Plus, Nintendo's released systems usually don't have glitches.

Yeah, I preordered the Wii a couple of weeks ago. Had to put down $100, and I was the third to reserve it (pretty small store) out of 10 possible. I'm going to get the Legend of Zelda with mine.

Because the Xbox 360 has crap for games and the PS3 is gonna cost ten million dollars.

Besides, I already have an Xbox 360 and PS3, it's called a computer.

The trick to buying a new system without preordering it is buying it at Wal Mart or K Mart or something like that.
Nobody ever thinks to do that. That's how I got my PS2.
