SurveyUSA has too much of a Republican bent to it, it overstates the sample size of Republicans in most races while undercutting the amount of independents and undecided voters.

If the Dems don't get the majority in the midterm elections, I will personally run naked through Capital Hill. They're bound to win, deserving or not. When taking into account
1)Bush's approval ratings, 2) The Foley Scandal, 3)Various other Republican scandals in the past term (i.e. Delay, Abramhoff, etc.), and 4) the mounting American disapproval of the war in Iraq, the Democrats have a lot of things stacked in their favor.

This is what I mean by your stupidity and with me responding, lol.
Just saying, it's not like we all went up in a hissy fit after we dropped the A-Bomb.

Well, DUH
Why do you think people actually give a shit about the lives of celebrities? Because they don't want to have to deal with their own realistic lives. People aren't concerned about intricate details, they make decisions based on relationships that relate to an event. Just because Bush is a horrible president and his approval ratings are low means that the republicans will suffer in the midterms. Even though they AREN'T the president, the people will see that they are of a common party, make an instant correlation between them, and vote as if every republican senator is a mirror image of Bush.

Bi-partisan polar opposition sucks in that sense. Both parties may have good ideas in them but because both parties have their share of knuckleheads they will remain at odds with one another, thus puting a damper on decision-making.

LOL! Well there was the attempt at social security reform, then there was talk about medicare reform. Direct opposition in the bi-partisan system has put an end to any of that though. Hm... I wonder what the Conservative people in here think about Bush's plan to privatize social security...
