Currently I'm looking at Steinberg's Guitarist 2 and Bassist 2, as well as Slayer 2. How do these guitar VSTi's sound... are they natural-sounding at all, and are the effects good? Sorry for all the threads...

Well Steinberg guitarist and bassist for reasons beyond me, simply refused to find the library on my computer. Maybe I installed them incorrectly, all I did was simply change the place to install the library and dll file into another directory, if that screws up the installation, thats seriously weak.

They do however sound pretty neat.

Slayer 2... well to be honest, there are NO electric guitar VST's that could possibly match up to the real thing, but in my experience it makes for quite a good vst.

Because I'm not an actual guitarist myself, so anything would sound very good to me. Seems like I'm stuck with getting the actual thing... so it's down to Guitarist vs. Slayer. And by the way, both are compatible with FL Studio, right?

Anyone back that up?

In addition, someone said that Guitarist was for Reason... is that exclusive, or is it compatible with Fl Studio?

well slayer was built off math forumula's, so to a trained guitarist, it must sound like crap. I'd back that up.

As for guitarist, I have the file working, I just can't make it find the library, so yes, it is compatible with FL studio.

Woah... Maestro Sorrow and Rage... same person?

Does anyone have the same situation... a fully-purchased (ripped Steinberg material probably won't work, and isn't a good idea to begin with anyway) version of Guitarist 2 not working with Fruity Loops?

Groove Agent 3 also looks pretty cool... but drums for $250?
