Detecting Flash version? 2006-10-13 21:13:25 Reply

I've seen this done before on a couple of flashes. At the loading screen it detects wether or not you have the required flash version in order to view the movie properly, if it says you don't have it you have to download it before you can play it, but if it detects you do have it, it will say latest flash detected or whatever and let you play. Anyone know how to do this? It would be a great help :)

I have the EXACT thing that you're looking for: http://www.flash-des..les/preloaders.shtml

Just look at the right, where the preloaders are, and you'll see 'Flash Version Deteced'. It's a preloader that you can download that detects the version of flash.
