I remember seeing a cover with an old lady, it looked like it would be the same animation style as those movies. It was like Walking Castle, or moving castle, something along those lines. In the background of the cover there was a castle like thing with robotic legs.

Oh, and while i was in America i got to see one episode of FMA, thanks to my grandparents for waking me up at 6 in the morning and making me too tired to stay up past Big O. It looked pretty cool, it was Full Metal vs. Flame.

i have not seen that either... wow i havent seen spirited away or either of the ghost in the shell movies... i'm really getting out of it... how are the ghost in the shell movies anyway?...

i did some digging and found that the movie your talking about is called Howls Moving Castle which hasnt come to the U.S. yet. Apparently the movie will hit the U.S. in June 2005. click here to read about it and here to see the trailer.

I've seen the first G.i.t.S movie but not the second. But I can tell you it's worth watching. Not many people here care for it. I don't know why, it's one of the best anime moives ever made. It even beat Akira in awsomeness.

i havent seen it but i heard theres to much talking and not enough action, even more so in the second one. this is just what i heard.

The puppet master. Towards the end, the Major goes to find him. She encounters a big ass tank.[I'll try and find a picture of it]Basically tries her hardest to destroy it, but fails for the most part. At the end she beats it though. Her and the puppet master talk for a bit, all putting everything said so far into place. In the end, the special OPS who were after the puppet master kill him,a nd injure the Major. But she comes out fine. Her ghost is put in to the body of a little girl, and thus ends the movie.

Yes, that is true, because it's so complex. It isn't your run of the mill anime that is basic 'kill the bad guy' stuff. It's got class and a style of it's own.

If your talking about GitS 2, I wholeheartedly disagree with you. Never have I been so disapointed with a film in my entire life. If I wanted to see what that movie showed, I'd take some Acid hits along with a couple of lines of crack. I hate it when director's think just because their first movie was an acclaimed master piece, they can go off on a "artistic" tangent in the sequal. The fans of the first movie deserve better than a philosphy lecture on Extasy.

Sequels have a 95% chance of sucking ass comared to the first on. I'm not limiting this to anime either. here's an example

Yeah, I agree. If you're a fan of GitS in any respect, I recommend you check it out since it's has it's strong points. Yet I reiterate, it's still a total disrespect to the original.
