He reminded you bro.
Fate/Zero and Shakugan no Shana Season 3 are literally right around the corner.
I have been told a lot of very mixed things about the Fate franchise so I haven't been motivated to watch it. Probably just gonna watch Tamayura, Last Exile, Usagi Drop special. and maybe S-Cry-Ed movie this fall. Winter isn't fully announced yet but it looks much better IMO. I will be watching Kyousogiga, Nisemonogatari, Another, Kill me Baby, Steins Gate Special, Berserk: Golden Age Part I, and if reviews for it are positive K-On movie.

All I have ever heard are good things. And it is good.

Don't get me wrong I respect your opinion. I just respect the opinions of people that have tastes similar to my own more then your opinion. On another note I just preordered this shit.

Yeah but im just saying ive never heard a bad thing about it.
Anyway what about dem Higurashi Kira OVAs? I hear everyone is whining because they didnt like the first episode even though it is based on something that was originally going to be in the novels and seems to be some kind of parody/deconstruction of harem ecchi with the implied suicide and all.
You cant deny the second episode was just awesome though.

OMFG, I´m having an orgasm! Fate Stay Zero is out and subbed.

Yep. The blueray has built in English subs, so it is worth my $80. It will probably be here by my birthday as well, so it is pretty cool. I will have to ask one of my relatives to buy me a internal blueray player for my birthday I guess.
Hey guys did you miss me, I've been busy with real life for the past week so haven't had any time for anime, upsetting.
New H x H was meh. You need to have read the manga or seen the original anime before going into this.
Finished up LOGH, and watched Tatami Galaxy. Both where great. I loved LOGH's ending. The visuals in Tatami Galaxy where great, and I enjoyed the soundtrack for it. The ending of Tatami Galaxy seemed kind of rushed. It would have been a lot more enjoyable for me if the had spent a couple more episodes showing what happens in the near future. Gonna watch Steamboy tonight then call it a day.

I was surprised no one had mentioned it yet. Seems like its going to be really good, unsurprisingly.
Opened up a checking account today, found out I have great credit for my age because of my student loan. So I was browsing anime shit on Amazon and I saw a Amazon credit card offer thing. I was tempted because of the free $30 amazon credit so I signed up. Life has been awesome recently.
mfw I can afford the Rei fig I have been wanting to buy because I got $30 amazon credit and money in the bank. I can just cancel that shitty credit card when I get it.
On a more on topic note I watched the first episode of Dennou Coil today. It wasn't very impressive but usually first episodes aren't all that catching. Still have very high hopes for this show. I like the whole merger of online, and reality kind of concept that is present in it, so it should be a interesting watch.
Just finished reading the manga of Welcome to the NHK. Out of the eight volumes, pretty much the first half equated to the anime, although the anime's ending was significantly different. The manga was a lot darker and blacker, and just as riotous as the anime, and well worth the read IMO. It's been a while since I saw the anime, but the manga seemed to spend a lot more time portraying misaki as a completely disturbed and fucked up person. Never really gives a sob story about traumatic childhood or anything, which felt quite offputting at times, that you could get such a sick disjointed character with no given explanation like most books and things.
A great manga, great series if you haven't seen it, etc, etc.
Also chugging along through LoGH. Seven eps in or so, still got a long way.

Yeah, I was expecting a little more from it. It's okay though, I'll keep watching.

I was really pumped for this show after the trailer was released. Hell, I was really pumped 10 minutes into the show, but honestly there was just too much fucking talking. Not enough going on. It's not like I need kamehamehas to keep my interest, but it gets boring after 25 minutes of nothing but talking. I'll keep watching. I like the source material and it was only the first episode. A really boring 40 minute first episode.
Started House of Five Leaves. It's artsy-fartsy and slow, but I enjoy the atmosphere and the designs.
Just watched Millennium Actress. It was beautiful. I cried like a butch at the end of it. Definitely my favorite piece of Satoshi Kon's work.
watch bbm delete my image again
So P4A's the biggest disappointed of the fall season, Horizon's shit, some generic harems here and there, etc.
Yeah, not a really promising start of a season. My last hopes rest on Guilty Crown, unless there's some other hidden gem I'm forgetting about.

Yeah I should've known better, it being a video game adaptation and all. It's a good thing I didn't waste my time watching it -- /a/'s reaction was enough for me.
Anything good I can watch to prep up for Halloween? I've got Soul Eater already.
Texhnolyze, Ergo Proxy, Serial Experiments Lain, and Monster are some good anime with a darker undertone. Would be worth watching them if you haven't already.

It's only the first episode. People need to chill the fuck out and wait a couple episodes. Personally, I didn't see anything wrong with it other then some inconsistent character design.
What were you or /a/ honestly expecting?

House of Five Leaves(Which I turned out to love) is a good choice. The tone and aesthetics give off a melancholic vibe, something a bit darker. Doomed Megalopolis can also provide a good time.

That's what I'm doing with most shows that have aired so far. Hopefully, some of them will pick up in later episodes.

Definetly checking out House of Five Leaves then; the character designs in that show look awesome.

Well, I also think it was too much talk and somewhat boring. But they are telling how each character became a Master and explaining the Holy Grail War stuff for those who didn´t watch FSN. However, I hope the fight scenes start. Another episode like that is unbearable.

Both Vampire Hunter D films, Kakurenbo, Devilman OVAs(Apocalypse of Devilman is the best one).
Gunbuster was pretty enjoyable although the first three episodes where slow. Is season 2 worth watching?
