Here is my summation of the second season of Code Gayass.

Pretty much, apparently the reason 2 was so much different and so much worse from season 1 was because a different person made the story for each season, and also time slots in japan changed.

When season 1 aired, it broadcasted episodes at 11 of their night. Then when season 2 came out their time schedule was changed to 8, a time much more accessible by many more casual TV watchers and younger viewers.

They basically needed to change completely to appeal to people channel flipping and to keep the show appropriate enough for younger viewers.

....Or at least, this all was Ichiro Okouchi claimed.

But I don't forgive them, even if they were moved to a more viewed time slot they shouldn't change the story to be more entertaining to people with short attention spans.

My laptop charger shitted out I can't watch any anime for like a week. Stuck on my shitty iPod. Hopes I get my new charger before school starts. Hope college shit won't be too hard and I will still have time for shit. Also watched Last Exile it was okay. Seemed aimed at a younger audience though. I don't understand there is like a mix of time periods. The ships have parts that are futeristic at the same time though it has some really outdated stuff like there mean of communication. The animation was nice though.

I've been building a computer out of parts from a 2006/7 HP Media Center. Got the test version of Windows 7 on it right now. It's pretty nice, what Vista should've been.

I agree on you with the cut scenes, american VA's and Graves name. Shying away from the blood didn't really bother me all that much. Points I will give it are story and OST. Some to character development as well. I can see why you feel how you do with it now.

I still remember the heated conversations in character between Inuyasha (Wonko) and Kouga (LLStarks) with Kagome (Tink) in the middle trying to keep the peace.

I remember coming in when Wonko was still Inuyasha and asking for the name. Even changed my name to Inuyasha for a while.

Was I ever Inuyasha? I was Vicious, I remember that. I don't recall ever liking Inuyasha. The show or the idiot who took that character. Remember, the first time I left the club was because that fucking show was all anyone here would talk about.

Brotherhood? I recommend giving it a go. FUNimation has dubbed episodes on their site, all the way up to the most recent which is 22 I think. Some great animations and gets brutal at parts believe it or not.

Now now, you can't watch anything else until you finish your G Gundam son. DBZ is alright, still a classic but I wouldn't watch it again until I'm dead. Mushishi is great as well. Another series you can find on FUNimations site or youtube one.

Younger than you? No, definitely not.

I enjoyed Last Exile, though it had its share of problems.

It had a great beginning, dipped a bit in the middle when there were a few ridiculous reveals, picked back up to being great again, and then had a pretty terrible ending.

But it's still one of my favourite animes.

It's set in a fantasy world. Fantasy worlds develop in different ways to ours.

As far as I can tell, the evil dudes were just more technologically advanced than the good guys, who were trapped in steampunk.

It's really something that happens a lot in fantasy anime, and in every Final Fantasy game.

Last Exile targeted to a younger audience? what? Especially compared to a lot of popular anime, that is just incorrect. Also, it's amazing.

I saw the first episode of Wedding Peach a few days ago and I think Trish LeDoux may have been right: it isn't all that good. I only want to continue watching it for the transformation and attack scenes.
Maybe I'll finish Kodomo no Jikan... It's good for some lulz at the least...

Yes dad, I'll finish that awesome G-Gundam first. I'd rather first, god it's never boring to watch. Also nice on the Windows 7 thing, I formated my laptop and slapped on W7 as well, it's great, runs faster than Vista, that's for sure.

Disable it and grab a USB mouse, one of the logitech wireless ones in particular. I own one and it gets the job done.

I've started to watch Saikano and it's pretty damn romantic. I keep reading such great things about it, but I've yet to see what's so amazing about it. Sure it's romantic and all, but that seems to be all it has besides it's depressing tone. Oh and there's a crazy half robot girl, which is always nice.

you people are some dis- great guys you all are with this anime stuff i too fancy the "anime". but right now ima just watch one of the most fucked up anime ive seen in a while-elfen lied. can somebody point me in the direction of a good manga reading website. i lost the old one :(

Watched two episodes of the Black Jack OVA series today. It's pretty good, in spite of its poor animation and cheesy triple cuts.

One thing, though.

Why does nobody make any reference to Black Jack's appearance?

This guy would look like a freak if he was a real person, so why are all of the female characters attracted to him?

The only parts that were boring to me was the last two episodes of the series and thats because that shit was on par with Endless Eight on the fucktard scale. The movie on the other hand, completely raped the shit out of anything the series had to offer because it was so god damn amazing. Which reminds me, I still have to see the new movies, 1.0 and 2.0.

Hey, I'm just posting here cuz i love anime, but i've been hard pressed to find anything that keeps my attention lately.
I started off my anime 'career' watching Naruto, Chobits and Fullmetal Alchemist. Loved them all, but got bored of Naruto once i caught up and had to wait every week for a bunch of talking and a cliffanger.
My favorites for a while have been FLCL, Neon Genesis, and Cowboy Bebop.
So basically I'm looking for something along those lines, to get me back into anime.

Any suggestions?
