Is Element Hunters worth getting into?

hello anime club
um..the only anime I've ever watched was FLCL and Serial Experiment Lain but those were years ago . Yesterday my friend told me about Welcome to the N.H.K and said it was awesome .

so yeah I like it .

I've never watched Serial Experiment Lain, but I have watched FLCL. I was extremely dissapointed by it. Everyone said it was supposed to be amazing, but I honestly thought it was pretty terrible. I honestly had to force myself to finish watching it, which is pretty bad considering that the series is extremely short.

FLCL I thought was rather funny, but a bit too weird for me.

I have seen Higurashi (Ni), Elfen lied, FLCL, Death note.

Element hunter is shitty. I just watched Bakemonogatari 6 It was great Koyomi got his ass kicked.

And I'm STILL waiting for Viz to cough up Kirarin Revolution; they've been sitting on it for years in the style of Miramax Films.

You should watch love hina I used to read the manga years ago it was okay but by your selection you would like it. Death Note is a good one. Bakemonogatari is a good violent anime with hot women also blood +. If you also like manga read elfen lied and highschool of the dead.

What didn't you like about Gungrave?

I found it hokey, goofy, not in a charming way. It just rubbed me the wrong way. And for a show that comes off as so action packed and littered with bodies, it really, really shies away from blood. I kept seeing basically the same shot, pointing gun up close (somtimes waiting like 2 minutes to build up TENSION), cut away, gunshot sound. I got tired of seeing this scene. There were some parts I thought were kinda cool, but I felt that so many things were poorly executed. I didn't think the show was exactly bad, just not so good. I don't really know what to tell you. I just didn't care that much for this show.

and freaking Blood War. man. fuck that guy.

Watching it dubbed didn't help, either. Brandon's voice actor got pretty annoying, specifically when narrating. He was fine as Jin in Samurai Champloo, but I think he did poorly as Brandon. I started to hate hearing his voice. also, fucking Lex Lang. not liking this guy. my fault for not switching to sub. And am I crazy, or did I hear Tony Oliver play like 10 different people, if even just extras and bit parts aside from Harry? I could have sworn...Not that I don't like Oliver. I love him as Lupin.

Also, what kind of name is Millennion? Did they mistake the word millennium? Is there an explanation for this name? I'm curious. speaking of names...Beyond the Grave. What a lame name. should have went with just Grave. It would have been more, you know, name-like. They call him that for short, anyway.

Who doesn't like Cowboy Bebop? Seriously, that's one of the few animes you'd have to hate anime in general to not like.

Anyway just wondering if you guys are noticing all the ads around the site these past two days: Full Metal alchemist, Death note, Bleach, Lucky Star, the Melancholy Of Haruhi S. and some other anime I haven't heard of are all now NG ads.

I've seen the Full Metal Alchemist ads, but none of the other ones that you mentioned. Are they all in the forums, or do you have to look for them in other parts of the site?

Okay, know any anime that doesn't suck the root? Only ojne of them you listed was actually good and that was Ouran. Hellsing (if you're referring to the tv series) fell apart fast... unless if you are referring to Hellsing Ultimate, the OVA series is AWESOME. Full Metal Alchemist is actually a pretty good series too. As for the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. It was only good once in it's original Japanese broadcast order and in Japanese language. It was more fun that way and I can't fucking stand Wendee Lee in roles as teenagers.

I don't really know, honestly besides depositing I spend all my time on this site on the forums.
