He is willing and able to do any job he has to prove himself. His travels take him to a variety of locations and a variety of women, each who learns to love - ANN
Sounds rather derp but ill give it a chance since you speak so highly about it. Not looking forward to it because its reviews aren't too positive and seems like typical harem shit.

started abenobashi maahou shoutengai, really love it so far (first three eps), it's great fun. essentially each ep is a parody of different things, with the two main characters trying to get home out of whatever parallel dimension. Full of lots of references and things (even to non anime stuff, 2001 A Space Odessy was poked at a fair bit in 3rd ep for example), interesting to see what other genres its gonna have a go at next.

I don't know where you get your shitty reviews, but you and they are quite wrong. Golden boy is a very funny show.

You probably think love hina and ah my goddess are good too eh? All harem I have ever seen is pretty much the same. Made with the sole purpose of getting teenage boys horny. Like I said im gonna check it out though and give it a fair chance once I get bored of the Rebuild 2.0 soundtrack.
Also was thinking about rewatching the original series again there are a lot of theories about the eva movies being sequels to EoE floating around on /a/ that have some pretty solid evidence to back them up. I dismissed a lot of it as fansub mistranslations but now that I have seen the official copy and there still there it doesn't seem likely. But no one really knows for sure until 3.0 which according to IMDB will be coming out some time in 2012. Image will have some spoilers if you havent seen EoE, 1.11, 2.22 http://img838.imageshack.us/img838/7923/

So, Chobits or Cardcaptor Sakura?
Never read a CLAMP manga before, so I'm not sure what to expect from either.

Just watched Ano Hana 4. It was a nice episode but I have a feeling a lot of people are gonna drop it after this episode because of the content.

Boobs and camel toe can't substitute story line. This is fucking retarded. I would rather rewatch Mars of Destruction over another episode of this shit.

You're equating a silly sexual comedy to something with heavy story driven plot?
The only retard is you.

Watched Voices from a Distant Star.
Quite moving.
Might watch all 5cm/s at some point, I intended to watch it ages ago.

The animation of 5cmps is amazing but the storyline wasn't great. You should check it out if you get the time. I watched a blue ray rip a while ago and my eyes came.

You're a mindless moronic human portable toilet.
PLOT has nothing to do with the enjoyment of Golden Boy, the idea is that it's over the top, exaggerated, and exploitative. How does plot fit into a 6 episode OVA with stand alone episodes?
It satires most of the tropes and crap that fills harem anime anyhow. To whine about how it wastes your time because it has no plot is like complaining about the plot of an episode of Beavis and Butthead.
Get the fuck over your pandering tastes and go back to 4chan, where I'm sure you'll fit right in with your implications jokes.

I never caught on with Shinkai's films. I've seen Distant Star, Place Promised in our Early Days and 5cm's. And every single one was such a lacking, boring experience to me. The artwork is quite stunning, but that hardly makes up for manipulating audiences with a bunch of forced emotion that's about as genuine and moving as cardboard.

Decided on reading CCS.
Also, Rance 8 is looking good. I'm definitely excited for it because Suzume (and possibly Kenshin) is in it.

Chobits is my vote.
i haven't read sakura but i did watch some of the show when i aired years back. it's not bad either but it's geared towards a younger audience(mainy girls really)whereas Chobits is a middle ground in attracting an audience. it's really good too art wise and the interaction between Chi and dude face is really cute at times. it's six or so volumes so it doesn't over saturate you too much like a long release with sakura.
or at least i think it's six volumes. might be off there.

Been watching Berserk lately since everyone raves about it. Its pretty impressive. I am really liking the art style. You can tell that they spent a lot of time and money animating that. The story line is also pretty great as well.

Storyline?
It's a dumb comedy. It's supposed to be funny, not gripping.

You should read the manga.. The anime covers only a small portion of the story. However, they're making a new anime that's going to adapt the entire story.

Yea its not a bad show I am following it atm as well. It doesn't really excel at anything but it does a good job at everything. I just hope they don't adapt all the fanservice in ep 4 in to the rest of the series. The first 3 episodes where definitely enjoyable though.

I get in to anime mostly for the art. A collaboration of people working together to make something amazing is awesome. I also like the Pixar movies and anything that you can really tell they spent a lot of time on. I don't really appreciate manga as much as anime because of this. Mangas are generally just one person doing all the art then a few people editing it to make it look pretty. A lot less effort goes in to creating a Manga then a Anime. I would rather just sit down and read a book over reading a manga.

So, by your logic, novels are also inferior to a completely different medium of storytelling because it's all written by one person.
