Is Toradora any good? I'm in the mood for a slice-of-life anime and it seems to fit the criteria, but I'd like to see what NG thought of it before downloading/purchasing.

Sorry, I don't have a wacky anime picture folder, so I can't post a random image. I don't have any Girugamesh to post, too.

Yeah, that'd be better than Toradora at any rate.

Thanks, bros. I checked the Wiki for 'Mushishi,' and it looks rather interesting. The genre is interesting (detective fiction mixed with occult), too; I liked Agatha Christie's and Chandler's novels (though they don't fit in this sub-genre) so I think I'll enjoy watching it.

Watched Afro Samurai: Resurrection, solid action film overall. Everything was god about it, the animation, the sword fights, the style etc.

Should totally watch it if you haven't.

Calvin And Hobbes is perfect... Maybe a bit too perfect.

But yeah, Yotsuba& gives me a very similar vibe. Sometimes a work just captures the mindset of a child perfectly.

Watched w episodes of One Piece (against my will). There was crazy roller skating races and what looked to be lethal dodgeball. Still wondering how that show ever became popular.

Luffy can stretch his whole body? Him and Mr. Fantastic should have a contest.

Superpowered pirates. I mean, that's a premise that's pretty hard to fuck up.

I really liked the manga, and then the anime got tiresome after like fifty episodes.

Shit's just dragging on too long.

And yet they achieved it. Many premises have been completely fucked. Look at Naruto, ninjas is a good premise, yet here we have Naruto. Dragon Ball, a retelling of Journey to the East, and we have the endless screams of Z and the wtf of GT. Death Note was one of the most fucking awesome ideas ever, and they still fucked that up.

Eh, I like it. Though the manga is better than the animu. Still, it kinda jumps the shark at about Skypiea. Pre-Grand Line, The Alabasta Arc, shit was cash.

Take a look at the location thing in my profile and guess at how many fangirls I've met. I liked most of it. When those two weird kids come into play though, it just goes downhill.

Hey, i don't know. I hear the sunni girls are wild about the show.

Anyway, I know two fangirls in real life, online is where they swarm, anyway.

I ended up buying the first season set of FMA, and it's gotten me interested in the show all over again. Yeah it's been on TV here millions of times, but it's been about a year since I've seen an episode, and it's reminded me of honestly how good the series really was. Episode 26 in particular was incredible in terms of drama. Now I totally wanna see the movie, and hoping the remake will be okay at least.

Other than that, I also bought GITS: Stand Alone Complex, I admit I wasn't terribly interested in it whenever I saw random episodes on tv. But after some convincing I decided to give it a serious try.

So yeah, there's my update.
