God, I already have a personal vendetta against Inu-Yasha, besides it being a shit series with a shit fanbase, it made sure that we would never see a full Ranma anime series...

Just finished reading Narutaru(Shadow Star) by the same guy who made Bokurano and it's just like Bokurano, depressing. It had a very dark tone for a manga that had little kids as the main characters there was a lot of death and rape and all that good stuff. I was disgusted with all the 12 year old sex going on, but I got the same feeling when I finished Bokurano a lot of unused potential. Not bad though, wasn't a total waste of time.

I just watched Voices of a Distant Star. It was pretty good. And I'm going to start watching Boogiebop Phantom soon.

I still have not yet seen either of those. They've been sitting on my Netflix queue for a while, now.

Looking back at Voices of a Distant star and 5 centimeters per second. I'm really not digging Shinkai and his cliche borefest films.

I watch anime to be entertained, not bored and depressed.

I thought that Voices of a Distant Star was a very emotional piece.

It affected me.

So me dad and I were basically finishing up Berserk today, since all I could do was lie on my tummy or on my side.

We just got into Hell, so not much more till it's done. :( Then onto Golgo 13 for Queen Bee, then Black Lagoon. :3

I told him it was an abrupt ending, and that I was planning on finishing off the series with the manga.

Off course, my dallying around on TV Tropes Wiki and having a liberal approach on spoilers (and it being one of the most refrenced shows after Star Trek and a few others) I pretty much know the whole plot.

News about it has been incredibly mixed and hard to follow ever since the first season ended.

Well, it looks like the new season of Clannad is going to come before it, so you've still got a while to wait.

Volume one of Boogiebop Phantom arrived from Netflix. I heard that this series is hard to follow. I hope that doesn't mean I'll have to rewatch any episodes to understand it.

Finished Berserk with the daddy figure today when we were both out of commission. Didn't get as jazzed up this time round, but you know, still awesome ending. I mean, my MUM was asking about what happened to Griffith and Guts and Casca. lul.

Also read volume 14 of it, and was like "HEY DADDY WANNA SEE AWESOME GUY WHO COMES TO SAVE GUTS?".

It wasn't that terribly bad, to be honest. I mean, it COULD have been better, now that I've read the manga and watched some of the new episodes of the show.

Once I find/if I can find The Professional, I'm picking it up no matter what.

You'll find some lulz in it, since it probably has the worst use of computer graphics ever in the history of films.

It was one of the first animated films to use it I think, comp graphics have come a long way since the early 80's(Obviously) but it's still lulzy to watch that scene.

Looks pretty nice, even though it's based off the video game I heard it's still pretty good. I'd like to check it out, but the boxset is insanely expensive nowadays.

Devil May cry is based off a video game and its good, as well as the Street fighter animated film, so i have confidence in it.

Videogame based anime tends to be pretty bad.
