English dub is the best dub. In japanese, it's rather weird, in English it's the most insanely violent and dirty comedy ever.

it says a lot that it was directed by the same guy as FLCL and Gurren Lagann, it reeks of both.
I wasn't really a big fan of FLCL. It was entertaining, but I think it's highly overrated. I've never really seen much of Gurren Lagann but it looks like it might be a little more appealing to me.
Anyway, the only anime that I've been watching is High School of the Dead. My opinion of it hasn't really changed. It's a great show, but the constant fanservice feels forced and a bit juvenile. It feels like they're trying way too hard to target the show to teenagers when it would be a lot better without it.

Nah man, it's all good. The girls in Highschool are waaaay to old for him.
But I agree, I hate how belittling fanservice is. It insults my intelligence and makes me feel as though the author thinks he can't hold my attention without a massive pair of tits relaying dialog. (I read the manga)
It is nice to have lots of big tits in a series though

The fanservice is in the manga, and there's a lot more of it. Inazuma was a doujin artist, it's just how he rolls bro.

The show manages to maintain it's quality through the whole run. Towards the end some stuff happens that's more intense than anything that happened before in the show.

This is highly inappropriate for a website such as Newgrounds. You're now banned for 30 days starting now.
However, I'm not good with mathematics so you have 12.8 seconds until you can post on the BBS once again.

Damn shame.
It is
Paprika, Tokyo Godfathers, Roujin Z, all great movies and Paranoia Agent was a great series.
It's rattling when someone who seems almost an ethereal presence is gone, someone you almost always thought would be there and then you remember that they're human too.

His work was some of the most unique I've seen in the world of Anime. I'd say my favorite of his creations was Paranoia Agent and Perfect Blue, both extremely haunting.
I've yet to watch Millennium Actress and Paprika, but I have a lot of free time tonight, perhaps checking them out would be a good way to honor his life.
RIP Satoshi.

Hey guys I gotta ask, have their been any new animes that have came out in 2008+ that are worth watching? I haven't watched many animes for a few years so i'm wondering if their are any new gems.
Anyway, i'm going to watch Chevalier d'Eon this afternoon - should be interesting...

I second Rainbow, and also reccomend Baccano and Durarara. In that order, because there's one or two Baccano references in Durarara, and they're funnny only realy if you know them.
