I mean, it was so BOAR-ING. One episode problems, with one episode solutions.
What's wrong with that?
There's plenty of anime with good self contained episodes.
A lot of comedy anime is self contained.
It drew me in as an anime with a good plot. Dude is afraid of women, is transported to a planet with nothing but women, find this one girl he likes, takes her back to his planet, and now she needs to become used to life on his planet. It was great for the first seven episodes or so, but it's "comedy" was nothing but the Team Rocket-like hijinks of a pervert antagonist trying to get the protagonist's girl, and his black magic sister trying to get the guy. Each episode is just a new scheme by the antagonists trying to capture their "love". It is, for all intensive purposes, perpetual Team Rocket-like mischief. At least Pokemon has a fucking plot, Girls Bravo's only real selling point was it's sexual innuendo, bordering on hentai, which isn't really a plus considering the show originally drew me in portraying itself with an inventive plot, with a joke thrown in every once in a while.
Seriously people, seeing an anime dude be embarrassed because he saw a naked chick by accident was funny only oh so long ago.
"Oh wow, he totally walked in on this girl getting dressed. Then he punched him. Funny shit right here."
Then again, the vast majority of comedy anime isn't any good.
But then you've got stuff like Cowboy Bebop.
I never saw Cowboy Bebop, but I keep hearing good things, so I assume it has it's selling points.
But I've never seen your little show, and it doesn't interest me.
