Some of the long Gundam shows suffer from padding and outright shit episodes. There's only so many times Zeon can try to take the White Base and fail before it gets boring and predictable.

Everyone go watch it right now, it's probably better than whatever you're watching at the moment anyway.

Well...all those anime characters are supposed to be assians...and almost all of the anime series the story is evolving in japan, you rarely will see black people...

Also, all anime characters are Japanese unless noted otherwise. You can usually tell a character is american if they have blond hair.

Watched Vampire Hunter D. Pretty damn awesome. Like Hellsing, but more medieval and fantasy. I find it funny though that they have fancy electronics but no cars :D.

Story is enjoyable, the dub didn't seem horrid, though I'd probably have preferred the original because of D's original voice actor, Kaneto Shiozawa. But fun, lots of blood, and a tit flash here and there but it actually had a good story. Plus, seeing a motherfucker getting his head blown up, Fist of the North Star style makes me rather happy.

There was a lot of drug use. It surprised me, the anime didn't have anything like that.

Was a good read though, and it has a super sexy cover.

I don't know about that one really. Of course it all boils down to preference. I like the grittiness of the older animes VS the newer ones personally. Plus it has some sweet kills in the original one. Speaking of...
