Yeah, and the clothes would seem all fine and good for an undercover vice squad bust, but fuck's sake, everytime they're doing a briefing session and she walks in wearing that foolish shit, my ability to take the series seriously starts to take a beating.

I think I've asked this before, but any of you like Genshiken? Personally, I liked it, and I think I got my friend interested in it today. It's a laid-back series, and pretty well animated, and the whole deconstruction and casual discussion of anime tropes is just great.

Also, lol Ookiku Furikabutte, moar liek Furious Butt(Sex).

How about a list of your favourite animes, and maybe some series you'd be interested in checking out.

Also, in order to avoid my mistake a few pages back, if your list is over 25% Bleach and Naruto, that's a GTFO.

Hmm, Cowboy bebop and Samurai Champloo are a great place to start. But then again, it'd help to know what kind of shows you like. Action, comedy, romance, slice of life, tentacle rape?

Also, tetsuo is hot. I need to see the damn movie some time. A friend lent me a VHS of it years ago, but I never got around watching it, but I discoveredt the comics at the library through that.

So, I've recently watched an episode of Rurouni Kenshin for the first time in a few months. Honestly, compare it to something like Cowboy Bebop and it looks like Bleach/Naruto/Generic Shonen Anime. I mean, at times it's as if it just slows down, nothing interesting in particular happening.

Also, I hope I can pick up Samurai Champloo this weekend.

As far as I can tell, if you compare any action anime to Cowboy Bebop, you're going to be a little disappointed.

Personally, what I've seen so far, Samurai Champloo competed in the same series as Cowboy Bebop, but then again, same creators...

Anyway, I was at the shop, and found myself queuing to the register next to the magazine stand. I noticed they had some Manga. Let's see... Detective Conan, some epic fail romance, some epic fail shonen, some epic fail shonen romance, Yotsuba&...

YOTSUBA&? And a finnish translation, to that. El You El Zed, had to buy it, just for the sake of buying it.

Overall it's turning out to be pretty good, might wanna give it a try sometime.

I've actually been considering it for about a month or so, but I've been so lazy with everything else I watch.

Did catch up reading the Berserk manga today, though, and these most recent chapters are like whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

*Spoilers*

The second pirates started popping up and then the Pope, shit got really hard to take seriously. Fortunately, the art and dialogue are still as impressive as ever and it looks like some serious business involving Griffith looms ahead.

The problem is, the bulge is just oddly more detailed than the rest of the picture.

It looks out of place.

Alright, I just finished the first season of Rozen Maiden and I'm currently on the 3rd episode of the second season. I just started watching Ouran High School Host Club as well, which in my opinion is pretty hilarious.

Anybody here know about that manga "Django," that vampire hunting kid? I hear Hideo Kojima originally wrote it's script. I was able to skim it and it seemed a little generic, but not exactly shitty.

So, I finally have some cash to pick up some stuff, And I was thinking of getting some manga too. I was thinking of getting the full series of Samurai Champloo and possibly some Pokemans and Marvel movies.

So yeah, stuff.

Just finished Bokurano and it was pretty good, love the opening theme "Uninstall." It had a lot of potential in my opinion, but I think they failed to really use it all. I still liked it though, for a mech show that wasn't really about the mechs.

Wow its been forever since i've been on NG forums.

Well anywho.

I've been reading Alive! Final Evolution and Highschool of the dead religiously. Both are great, and i've been watching some Tenjho Tenge, and getting into that. And i have a list of anime waiting on the list.

My sig pic links to my page. Some of the ratings I've given might need to be changed, though. My opinion on some anime may have changed since I last updated.

Yes.

On an entirely different topic, does anyone here just love Akira? It's the most epic anime/manga to date. And we'll be hearing a lot more about it, as a new live-action film will be made in 09, and it features Leonardo Di Caprio. They killed it before it started. Anyway, if anyone wants, I can provide links that allows you to see the manga and the movie (1988 anime) online for free.

My PSN ID is xscoot. Crazy, huh?
