Also, soundtracks. Cowboy Bebop used jazz, Samurai Champloo used Hip-Hop, how about an anime witha reggae soundtrack? Or punk? I would come buckets.

Cowboy Bebop didn't limit itself to jazz.
In fact, it had both reggae songs and punk songs in its soundtrack.

I agree w/you. I don't like blood and gore 'cuz I think it's disgusting, but that's only when there's too much. I feel sorry for the kitty. :'(

Heard of yes, but I prefer my childhood to stay unraped, thanks.

How would PPGZ "rape" your childhood? I've heard of it and even saw some episodes on YouTube.

Dunno, something about how people talk about the over-energetic fight scenes is a little confusing.
Or I'm just stupid. Let's go with that.

The problem with the movie is that it lacks the great pacing of the series.
The story of the movie feels like it could be covered in an episode of Cowboy Bebop, or maybe a double episode.
However, it was still a good film with some great action scenes.
And it did contain one of my favourite songs from Cowboy Bebop, "Gotta Knock a Little Harder".

Silly of me to ignore that movie when it was on HBO. Now I have to scour shops for a DVD. Or download it.

I might end up watching it for Bubbles. She'll always be my fav cuz she's sweet and cute. ^_^

Told ya it was manly as fuck.
Going back over Kaiji, and despite being a bit long, Restricted Rock Paper Scissors is still a pretty sweet story arc.
