I finally saw an episode of Code Geass, and I have to admit it's not bad. I can't give any further reflection until I know more about the series, but I am certainly interested in watching more of this show.

Does anybody here watch Naruto, any version? 'Cuz I have the DVD's that feature the original Japanese audio. I know that some people hate the American version.

Most people here hate it, any version. I personally like the early episodes, but I never really got past the Chunin-exams. Also, Shonen is a bit boring genre.

You should have watched it subbed. Alvis is even more adorable with her original Japanese voice.

Trying to figure out if I want to continue with Akagi or not.
The one episode I watched moved at a crawl and I hear the whole series is just Akagi winning EVERY FUCKING TIME.
But that said, Kaiji amazed me beyond belief and I really like Akagi's music, so I may watch a few more and see if the story is as thrilling as Kaiji's was.

Which episode do you like so far? My fav is the first one. I've seen it so many times, I've got all the dialouge memorized. I also kinda agree with you about the Shonen genre, especially since the new manga for Naruto only comes out once every two months.

So I realized I find animal killing in anime totally fucking disturbing. I love blood and gore, but when it's an animal, specially a cat i shudder, and spend a fucking day obsessing about it. It's strange.

Even I who like so much gore and blood, well,I fall under depression and become mad at the same time when somebody kills an animal,I just don't like it,it's worthless,it's terrible.I remember an episode of ELVEN LIED when 2 punks killed a little doggy,I will never forget it,cuz I started punching my PC as hell!
Even though,nothing changed.

I don't love blood and gore specifically.
It's all good when it's entirely necessary for the media it's in, but most of the time gore just seems so... Pointless.
It really irks me when I see something that looks to me like it's trying to be 'extreme'.

Pretty much that same here. Black Lagoon and Cowboy Bebop did violence well.
