Nah, Black Jack is pretty fucking great, really eager to start reading the manga in September.

Well, Kuro, don't get pissed at Gendo and Mendou for bringing up Ranma, that's usually my fault.(And I am usually remorseless about it too, cause I love the series despite its many faults)
Anyways guys I am in a pickle. One of best friends birthday is coming up, but he wants the first season of inu-yasha as a gift. My inner fanboy refuses to get him the gift, but I want to give him a good gift. What should I do?

Get him Season 1 of Ranma 1/2, tell him it's just like Inuyasha except less gay.

Meh, it's like 120 bucks for season one though. Maybe I'll get him the OAVs though...

LOL what?

It's like, $30-40

Everywhere.

Well now I feel like a tool for getting those 3 years ago at such a high price, still, should be pretty awesome to get another person addicted to Ranma.(And more importantly, off of Inu-yasha)

I'd recommend giving him season 1, it's obviously the start of the series, and while the OVA's are great, he needs to be properly introduced to the characters.

Thanks for the advice, you smug bastard.

Queen Bee was a disgrace, but I have faith that this new TV series will be good.

Tokyo Godfathers was fantastic. I give it 5 stars out of 5. It's not much of a surprise from a film by Satoshi Kon. I got a couple of good laughs out of the movie, too. And I love how Hana runs. It's funny.

I was lucky enough to catch it on ppv when I had Direct TV at my dads years back. I love the characters, the gay one mostly because he comes off so flamboyant.

And out of the blue comes Kouga. Sup? What was Master_Inuyasha is now me, fancy eh?

Also, I WATCH AKAGI TOO GENDO I HAVE THE OSTS. I just can't with my ps3 and the non operating system. Last episode I watched was 17 I think. With the eye or ear loss game.

I found it oddly funny, in a dark way. I tend to do that with movies that are supposed to be sad.(I laughed when the little girl died)

I thought it was a great movie.

Probably Satoshi Kon's worst, though.

Then again, I've loved everything Satoshi Kon has directed, so I guess that's pretty good.
