Oh well. Question; oppinions on anime music?
I mean, personally, I like some tunes, but then there are those who hardly listen to anything else. That I just cannot understand.

Hm, I don't have an anime club where I am at. Well there IS one but its mostly Bleach-tards and Narutards. Still, my friends have good taste in manga(By good I mean they like Ranma and UY).
Only problem with my female friends are that they are obessed with Slash pairings that should never exist.

Greatly hit and miss.
There are a few soundtracks I'd listen to on a daily basis (Hellsing, Metropolis), but aside from a few guilty pleasure J-Pop tunes, I'm not really too big on anime music.

Yeah, there's a big society of weeaboos around here (they have annual convention-esque gatherings instead of monthly meetings), but they're mostly tasteless idiots.

lmao
I fortunately do not know too many people like that.

Ah, I actually don't mind them, actually, I kinda like that. Actually, one of my, moes, if you allow such weeaboo lingo here, would actually be Yaoi fangirls. Maybe because I see them as more sexually active, or open, than most girls. Being Bi myself also helps.

The Cowboy Bebop soundtrack is the only one which I listen to.
Good soundtrack, though a bunch of songs on it I wouldn't want to get on random.

I could have gone to see both of the Death Note films for the price of one film in the film festival last year.
I decided I didn't really want to try to handle four and a half hours of Death Note.

What about Hokuto no Ken? Also, Black Lagoon, EDISON is the shit.

Nope, it's hitting North American theatres.
Viz has been doing this a lot.

The movies are actually much better than the anime.
*SPOILERS*
No stupid second arc, Soichiro Yagami lives, L has a slightly more awesome death, etc.
*END SPOILERS*

JESUS CHRIST YOU WHORE
I tend to take the OST with me if I'm ever in need of a lengthy distraction (waiting rooms, long trips, etc.)
Also, Black Lagoon, EDISON is the shit.
BL has hit and miss stuff.
The OP and ED rule. but a lot of the incidental stuff either sucks or repeats too often.

I would have gone to see them if they were on at separate dates, but no.
It had to be a four and a half hour straight marathon.
I find it difficult to work up the strength to go see one movie, let alone two in a row.

Brutal.

I only ever did it once, and that was to wash the bad taste of the first film I'd seen that day.

Well, I did it once when I went to see a couple of kids films on at the film festival at the same cinema, on the same day, within 20 minutes of each other.
But Kirikou And The Sorceress, and The King And The Mockingbird were both amazing, so it's okay.
It's odd seeing two French animated films in one day.
Walk Hard was a reasonably effective antidote for AVP:R.
Ew.
Why would anybody have the desire to see AVP:R?

I was thinking of getting that one as the music from it was good and it had many different styles, probably wouldn't be high into the heavy metal one though. If it had that Opera music and the blues and things they were all great.

There are a bunch Cowboy Bebop soundtracks, since there's around 140 songs overall made for the series and the movie.
My favourite songs from it all come from different CDs.

Oh well, just more buying I suppose.

To be fair, some of the songs on the albums were live recordings of songs, or alternate versions of songs.
So it's probably a fair bit less.

Iron Man opens today, and I've got a ticket to watch it at 10:30 this morning (the earliest showing at the time). I'll let you guys know how freakin' awesome it is this afternoon.
Speed Racer opens in one week, and it could make or break the anime-based live-action movie trend. Let's hope the Wachowski Brothers know what they're doing.

I have heard about The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya a lot so far and it seems to be a good one from what I heard, do you think it is worth going into? If so I was given this link and it seems that I can get the first series for around £30 which I just got, think it is worth getting?

If it was an unlicensed or long out of print series, I'd condone downloading (as via technicality, that's totally legal).
Sorry to be a moralfag, but I'd rather see the industry be supported than not.
Plus, he clearly seems willing to spend money on it.

Well, yeah, and looking throughk the box has some pretty epic feelies. I wouldn't mind paying for that, actually.
But I don't see anything morally wrong with torrents, because, in the big picture, there's very little loss.

Meh, that's debatable.
I'm all for torrenting, provided you're downloading things there is absolutely no sensible legal alternative to (basically, anything unlicensed, out of print or too long/overpriced to obtain).
I've torrented plenty of stuff, but I much prefer buying (and I own more than I've downloaded).

Since it's not anime, I'll spare you the details of how awesome it was, especially the scene after the credits with Nick Fury (played by Samuel L. Jackson).
I do have something that is anime-related - a cosplayer at Anime Punch Armageddicon 3 gave me a thought I've been meaning to share for a while:
Do you think Edward from Cowboy Bebop and Bridget from Guilty Gear would make a good couple?
Also, while I was at the movie theater, I saw a preview of a special live-action Death Note movie. They'll air it in select theaters Tuesday, May 20th and Wednesday, My 21st at 7:30 PM.

I heard that staying past the credits to see that was a waste of time.
Also that the film didn't live up to the hype.

The only 'couple' I saw (that I remember) when I went to that convention a couple of weeks ago was two people dressed up as characters from .Hack//THE LEGEND OF THE TWILIGHT BRACELET.
That's far less interesting.

I really enjoyed the series, and so did a lot of people.
I haven't heard much bad about it.
