I watched the anime first, beat the game and got the bad ending, read the manga and then got the good ending on the game.

It's lucky that I didn't have any ally kills throughout the game on my first playthrough, so I didn't have to replay the game to get those endings.

I accidentally killed an ally. On the first go.

I did the bad endings for Etna and Flonne by playing through half the game again, though. Didn't bother doing all the ridiculous training required to get the endings you get by killing that alternate overlord.

I have no idea about the alternate endings with Etna, I have yet to do those.
