I like Lucky Star, it makes me feel good about how little I actually know about anime.

How many episodes have they even made of this series thus far?
I think 5.

And 4 of those have been fansubbed.

hehehhe also i thought we where forbidden to talk about fansubs here

Ouch... I feel your pain.

I once bought the GITS game for PS2. (Although I'll never admit it. xD)

It's okay. With proper help, you too can overcome shitty movies and the unholy games which spawn from their loins. I did, and it's the best thing that ever happened to me. ^^

I apologize for stretching that metaphor too far, but it made me think of something: Are there any anime series about corporations/big business?

If looking at it from behind the fourth wall, I consider Genshiken a big business given its seiyu casting and importance to the higher-level fans. It's practically a fandom orgy with the big names: Tomokazu Seki (Domon Kasshu, Sagara Sosuke & Souichiro Tanaka), Nobuyuki Hiyama (Shishioh Guy, Hiei & Harunobu Madarame) and even Akira Ishida (Asuran Zala, Gaara & Kuchiki).

But if you're thinking of actual businesses, I cannot think of one where business-oriented aspects play the primary role of the story.

No, but trying to be a smartass and annoying everyone else is categorised as being unhelpful and not providing any new relevant information.

I know that you have urges to joke around, but it does get annoying. So stop before it gets out of hand (judged by the admin and relevant parties affected by said irritance directly or indirectly).

I've got no remorse about that when the leader is telling me to fuck off/shut the fuck up/needless swearing etc. etc.

Also, the boss must either be a harsh tyrant or a charismatic leader with an oft-repeated catchphrase that reeks of win and Godliness.

Gendo, write about a world where two competing companies have epic wars with each other. I'm talking about shooting missiles at each other and shit.

This is a sample of a board meeting!

Board guy 1: There is word that the _______ Corporation sent spies over to poison our employees. Does anybody here have any suggestions on how we can crush them.

Board guy 2: Let's send one of our nukes over there.

Board guy 3: We already tried that. They used (some kind of beam or something) to deflect it into space.

Board guy 4: They're trying to take away our business again. They know we have the upper hand.

Board guy 5: Let's call the cops and scream rape. Then they'll be shut down.

Board guy 3: That's the stupidest fucking thing I've ever heard. You come up with the same suggestion every meeting.

Board guy 5: Listen guys! I'm just saying that screaming rape could solve any problem we have. Why do all of you have to make things complicated? We're spending enough money as it is. We would have much more money if you would just go with my plan. Remember, they violated US.
