Every day, a Starbucks is opened somewhere and they hire 200 new employees.
I heard this joke that they will build a starbucks in the parking lot of another starbucks.
Which is obviously not true.
Yet : )

In Sheboygan we have bars on every corner. We here are lazy asses and it defies our reason why anyone would drink something that makes them wake up.

yeah and they fired him too for being black....so that means you can be purple but not black?how gay.
I'd put something witty here, but that would be pointless and unoriginal.

Its true that pretty much every single day a new starbucks opens.
Sometimes 2 in a day.
Sometimes none.
But it really is growing fast, soon, it will literally be a starbucks on every corner, ONLY because everyone keeps going to it and that they really have to open up more starbucks to get all the customers waiting.
The big selling point about it for me, is their internet access.

I live in Australia and I have never seen a Starbucks over here. The one time I did see one was when I was on holiday in New Zealand...I loved it.
Good on Starbucks. Filling the heart, soul and mind of every child with caffeine. I actually have a long conspiracy theory I would like to share someday concerning a very similar topic. I might post it someday...

Just in pussy cities. The ones not smart enough to make there own coffee. The Starbucks epidimic died down before it reached the upper midwest. So that's atleast 9 states relatively untouched by it's dirty coffee.

Never been to New York City have you. This happens at least six times. Sometimes there is one across the street form the other, and then another one two blocks away.
In one of the malls here (near Washington DC) there is a starbucks on the ground floor, and another one right above it on the upper floor.

I read in a recent business report that they have about 12,000 locations right now.
They planto expand to 40,000 worldwide, and soon.
Go buy Starbucks shares, everyone.

Having recently moved to America the stupid number of Starbucks is one thing I noticed straight away. I walked into the downtown area from where I live (about 5 miles) and counted no fewer than 15 along the route I took. That includes two cases where they were directly opposite each other on the same road, and one mall where there was one at either end. That does seem a little excessive to me, although the fact that I virtually never see anyone else walking in this city suggests that the average American just can't be bothered to walk that extra block to the next Starbucks, and therefore requires one every 100 metres or so.
On my initiation at work they even had a talk about how important the Starbucks opposite the building was!
