i have noticed some animations on here and some posters who claim that the situation with iraq is mainly a venture by our president to obtain oil.
i couldnt disagree more, but i would like to invite intelligent responses as to why you feel the way you do on this topic, whichever way you feel.

I agree with you. I have heard people who think all Desert Storm was about was Oil, and we are doing it again. They couldn’t more wrong. Kuwait was attacked by Saddam. Kuwait are our allies. We where protecting Kuwait. Right now, people who think it is about war need to read their history! We are the least Imperialist Country in the world. You would have to be one ignorant fuck to think We are Imperialistic. In the history of the world, we are the ONLY Nation to win a war, and give the country back to them! Japan, Germany, they should be our states, we beat them in WW2, and we should own them. But we gave it back. there are stories like this all over American History. The only time we ever defeated a country and keep it for our selves was the Civil War!
Anyone who thinks this is about oil is full of it. And if it is, then blame it on the Hippies. They didn’t wanted us drilling Oil on our own land, so we have to get it from another place! If it is about oil, the same anti-Bush fools who say this are to blame, because most of them are the same ones to told him not to drill in our land. Beside, even if it was about Oil, how would be get it? The UN will not allow us to do that! They would give us Hell all the way.

I agree I dont belive this war is about oil. Its aout stopping a genocidal manic (see past posts). The civil war? Why would you use the civil war as an example, we didn't fight a forign country. THe North and South made up the united states, and the war was fought to keep the two sides together. And I dont think your going to get many responses because there have been about 50 threads covering this topic, your a little late.

That was my point. It was satire.
