saddam has hit an all time low. he is offering $14,000 for every kill and $28,000 for every soldier captured in this campaign. isn't that just peachy...

heh. The American forces should cash in and sell all Saddam's soldiers back to him at $28,000 apiece.
Lord only knows how many Iraqis the Americans will capture.
From what I've heard, they're postponing their attack, because they doubt the Iraqi leadership still exists.
Defence has been haphazard and uncoordinated, and it seems there's no orders coming from above to Iraqi troops.

speculation at the Pentagon is that saddam hussein is either dead or badly injured because there were reports of an ambulance rushing over to that bunker.

They know exactly which Bunker he's in? Shouldn't be too hard to kill him, then.
I'm fairly sure they are unaware of his whereabouts.

supposedly the CIA had, they said beyond a reasonable doubt, evidence that they knew where saddam hussein and his two sons were. so instead of the "shock and awe" campaign, the US decided to go with specified strikes on "points of interest".

They did say that, and for the most part I believe it, because it seems very plausible that Saddam would still be lying low in Baghdad. I doubt he expected a few pinpointed missiles ramming his compound/home. I heard they took a strike on his wife, too, but no one was injured in that one. It'd be nice to see Saddam dead on our first try.

if that's so, would you support us troops going there to search the area?

Oh please, Iraq is like the Al Gore of the desert, just doesn't know when it's beaten.

Well, we would've found Bin Laden, that's for sure.
...because he'd be ruling the USA.

that makes 857142 kills he could afford, we have less than 500000 out there.

Well so far, it seems that those cashing in the checks are helicopter manufacturers and a soldier from the 101st...
