Killin' Those Abusive Reviews

Ever since Wade fixed that whistle level glitch, I've been noticing a lot more abusive reviews getting removed from the site. This is certainly a step in the right direction, and whomever has been deleting these reviews, well, my thanks to you :] Maybe I'll get that Gold Whistle after all ...

I was so excited when I had my siver whistle. I had a bronze, then I worked pretty hard for like 3 days, and suddenly I had a silver whistle. I was like "WOW, that was so easy. I bet I can almost make it to deity in no time, then one day I check and I was back to my cappy bronze whiste. Waa.

I spent much of the day today deleting abusive reviews, but they keep on stacking up, almost as fast as I can take care of them. I know I'm not alone, though! =)

The earlier pages of "rages gift" are useless, the reviews hardly stay up for a few hours, I just posted a users reviews, he was banned in a few minutes. Sometimes when I click abusive it says they no longer exsist

I think if a certain review gets flagged enough times, it'll get bumped to the top of the list. The reviews that are flagged the most will get taken care of first.

So if the people in that thread all go and vote a review to be abusive, then you'd better act quickly to do the same or it'll be too late =) And hopefully, it was FLAGGED CORRECTLY and you all won't lose points.

I worked part of the day yesterday, a few hours last night, a little bit today, and I plan on really hammering away at it tonight, as well.

It's a lot to do, but we'll get there! :D

Just a reminder, folks: Just because something has a shitload of flags on it doesn't mean it is abusive. A lot of reviews were flagged blindly by people just looking at scores, or going through and flagging ALL of a mostly abusive authors reviews.

DO keep flagging, though. It's really helping us clear out those crappy old reviews. :)

No kidding. I got 2 PMs from M-Bot notifying me of old (well, one wasn't that old) reviews being deleted. It can sometimes be no wonder why some guys don't review frequently.
