Not hard to do, but kind of hard to explain...
Basically it just has to do with creative masking and movie clips: make a movie clip of something spinning, or a whole bunch of shit moving around. Put that in another movie clip with a masking layer the shape of a triangle with angles that can make up a kaleidoscope thing. Copy and paste that movie clip enough times so that it can fill out the entire shape of your whole kaleidoscope, you'll have to flip them too. That's pretty much all it is, I suck at explanations though, hopefully you can figure it out.... =P
