How can I make my site popular?

I created an MMORPG and I want more people to play it, how should I go about making the website popular?

Your website seems to be very lacking in content. Although I could write within this post a bunch of advice and suggestions, I think the best way to get a good idea on what to do would be to look at another text-base mmorpg.

Take a look at www.finalhero.com. It's also a text-based RPG, but it has attracted a lot more people. Your site seems relatively empty compared to it.

For a start you need a better layout. No one want's to read a load of small white text on a black background. It's harsh on the eyes.

Well... people actually can change the look of the game, like the background color and text color. Anyway, what would be appeling? isn't newgrounds just gray and off white? I'm not being rude, i am seriously asking.

Also, how could I spruse up my outline? I'm great at programing but I lack artistic creativity. Please, please, more advice!

well newgrounds looks very sharp and isnt just gray and off white. Dont you see the yellow red orange blue etc? u need to make it more flashy, its a little plain right now and i didnt see the other styles u can choose from but if those are better then make it the default. Change the text buttons to gifs and add some images here and there with some bad ass characters that you play as...idk....just mainly look around at some good sites and notice whats so different compared to urs...

Practice Photoshop and make a better layout. When I saw that page, I just closed it right away because the layout wasn't appealing to me.

First off, you're an idiot because that doesn't answer my question at all, secondly, my character on runescape could kick your characters butt, and lastly, a lot of people can't run java applications so runescape is crap to them. My website is for everyone to play, even those people on webtv, if that's still around. Any idea how annoying it would be to play runescape on a ps3 or something like that?

I actually have that. Right now, I am working on adding all of the armors and weapons to it, which takes a lot of drawing time. If you have signed up, tell me your username and I'll show you the link. it's still in the beta stages, but nevertheless, if you are holding a sword, it will show you with a sword (well... a longsword, I havn't drawn the sword yet)
