Low score =/= abusive

I have a strange feeling of deja vu making this thread, but here goes nothing.

I've noticed a rather disturbing trend while scrounging through reviews of flashes. Nearly every review that gives a flash a low score is marked multiple times as abusive (or simply not helpful, but im going to take a shot and say the majority of the tally is increased by abusive being marked).

Just because a user gives a movie a low scoring review dosent make the review abusive. Abusive reviews are (taken directly from the review guidlines)

"Telling artists "You suck!", "You should go kill yourself!", "You are gay!", etc."
"use [of] the review space for the purpose of promoting things....posting links to websites that reward you for sending hits....Posting unrelated links"
"flooding the review title or body. Examples would be long strings of characters or words with no breaks "HAAAAAAAAA"....Also do not submit images made from text and characters
"Do not use reviews to express your feelings that the entry should be BLAMMED"

There are other unmentioned rules but you get the picture.

If it breaks these rules its offensive, not if it legitimatly critisizes the author or flash in a reasonable manner. I've seen plenty of high scoring abusive reviews as well (normaly along the lines of flooding the review or made completly in caps for spam purposes) that are marked helpful, just becuase they gave a good score to the animation.

I guess I'm just trying to ask people to stop marking reviews abusive just becuase they dont like a flash (this happens most often in highly liked flashes)

That or the submission is bad and people right what they think without reading the review guildlines.

An example
I used this example from the recentMadness flash which is highly regarded amoung NG users. Every review on that page (last page sorted by rating) is legal and even helpful, granted its their opinion, there is nothing objectionable about their reviews. However each one has over 10 people saying its abusive (once again, some may just be tagged as not helpful, but im not going to give the typical NG user benefit of the doubt).

I share the same opinion. People who go through reviews to rack up whistle points need to read the review guidelines and know what constitutes an abusive review. Otherwise they'd be shooting themselves in the foot, since the review mod may clear the review of being abusive and penalize all the users.

He's talking about the decent ones.

Those reviews are (mostly) helpful and not abusive in any way, yet people still flag it abusive. :\

Those are the ones I like flagging the most. I would and still do laugh at those type of reviews just before I clicked that abusive button. If you think of it that way it is another form of entertainment.

Every body says this is fantastic, and that Krinkels is a god. So I will wright something different.

I see 2 seasons of madness animations, the first 3 movies are on the season 1, the good ones. Than there is the season 2, with nothing of new or special.

In the season 1, the characters were simple, but effective, they were funny, and had personality. Every animation had lots of new stuff and unexpected actions.

Then we go to the season 2, where the characters wear ugly clothes and you just don't get surprised with nothing. There is no incredible endings, the scenarios become very colorful, the main character does the same things, and where the fuck is the great musics like the ones of the 2nd and the 3rd?

And now you also like to kill the main guys like Jesus and the clown 5 times per animation! What is happening with you man?

I have noticed this trend a lot with the new review mod tools letting us work through flagged reviews much easier. Unless the review actually breaks a rule, it is not abusive. Flagging a review simply because the reviewer didn't like the submission is not right, and you WILL be penalized for it. I have cleared the flags on several reviews that have been flagged for no good reason.
