the strike on iraq last night is scaring people here in arizona the most. there have been direct threats on the palo verde nuclear power plant here just outside of phoenix. Arizona has the largest nuclear power facility and everyone knows it. today on the news they showed footage of army troopers guarding the entrance. people here have been worried all day that if there is any type of retaliation its going to be on our nuclear plant. personally i cant picture this happening but a lot of people here are getting the fuck out of dodge. its really scary that a lot of people are quitting there jobs and leaving town over all of this.

We have a nuclear plant near, too. But our country, the Netherlands, is not a target (yet). I wouldn't want a situation like yours here. You're pretty f*cked, actually.

if you're killed in a nuclear disaster it'll be fast, so fast you won't even realize it, so whatever happens will happen, welcome to war!

wow, that was a pretty disturbing thing to say, regardless of its truth. there's a nuclear power plant on the Wisconsin-Illinois border. i'm not entirely worried about it, but wouldn't be the nicest thing in the world if someone bombed it. and i would hope i'm upwind.

Heh, I live near a few Nuclear plants that span the width of Indiana and Illinois. We don't have any security there, either, because Indiana is out of money and we've spent all of it on NCAA protection. Great plan, eh?
