Al Gore joins Apple's board
By Ian Fried

Apple Computer on Wednesday named former Vice President Al Gore to its board of directors.
In a statement, CEO Steve Jobs noted that Gore is an avid Mac user who edits his own videos using Final Cut Pro. However, Gore's support of the Mac has not been unwavering, with the politician having said three years ago that he had switched from a Mac to a PC. Gore was chosen as a director at a meeting of Apple's board earlier Wednesday.
"Al brings an incredible wealth of knowledge and wisdom to Apple from having helped run the largest organization in the world--the United States government," Jobs said. "Al is going to be a terrific director, and we're excited and honored that he has chosen Apple as his first private sector board to serve on."

lol jesus christ. I see that everyone else in this thread already posted something witty! Dammit!
Well, if it means anything I'd really like to make fun of Al Gore here also.

Then do it! Or don't you know anything to say about him?

My point was that the two main things that I could have made fun of Al Gore for in a clever way were already taken. I laughed at the previous two jokes, and my post was a way of saying "hey that was good, I wish I would have gotten here sooner so that I could take credit for the joke".
Are there other things that I dislike Gore for?- Hell yes. They all, however, revolve around the fact that he is a compulsive liar, and I was unable to think of a funny way to relate this back to the fact that he is now working for Apple.
I absolutely hate Al Gore, and I think one of the best arguments for there being a God is that he was not given the authority to run this country.

He sure brings an incredible wealth of computer knowledge. He can use a program other Mac employees wrote!

Apple must have thought their board meetings were a little stale so they brought in old Al Gore to pump some excitement and charisma into them. Nothing is more riveting than listening to Al Gore talk about computers.

George Bush demands a recount
In a press statement made by Ari Fleischer:
"Apple will find that President Bush was, in fact, named to the board, not Mr. Gore."
*rimshot*
Why apple, why?

Something seems different about Freak. Did she go up a level, or change her aura?
BTW- I went up a level. I feel so different, with the boxing glove. And in 2 months, I'll be lvl 11, god willing.

We can never forget the Al Gore version of the macarena. I truly believe he has joints made of wooden pegs and glue.
