Alright, just finished my piece for the contest (it's a classical contestant piece)
A brief description of what happens:
Beginning: Elves are making last minute toys for Santa and loading the sleigh
0:50- Santa takes flight to deliver toys to everyone
1:20- Mood change; night time, everyone is sleeping. Santa is using magical powers to deliver all of his gifts.
2:08- Sunrise, Santa takes flight once again to return to the North Pole.
2:42- Kids are waking up and rushing to see what Santa brought them!
Great to see that entries are starting to pile up now!

Oh come on! There are so many great entries in this contest, there is no way you can guess who is going to win now.
Besides, money isn't everything. It's the publicity that really matters.

Extra money is always a bonus, but if people want to get serious with music they should be looking at what a contest (and the prize) will do for them in terms of publicity, which ultimately will result in more jobs and revenue. It's similar to a long term investment.

Publicity, however great... is good for bussiness. But I cannot find any satisfaction in publicity for some reason. I find the greatest satisfaction in knowing I've created something I've always dreamed to create. The closer I get to creating the perfect masterpiece... the more satisfied I am. Of course this can't be said for every person.
But I do declare... I wouldn't rule out the possibility that someone else could win quite yet. I tip my hat to your proffesionalism and absolutley stunning work, but since Christmas is so close to the heart of many of our judges I'm sure... perhaps a different piece can strike an old memory and a pleasant nerve, where Mr.Orr's piece could not.
But... again... in all likelyhood lol... *sigh*... sometimes you just can't beat a pro.

Wooord homies. It's time for another list. :D I'm proud to present my entry there aswell. It's more like some "original" around here I think...Ah well...check for yourselfs, or I'll drink your beers. ;) Keep in mind that the final judging list will be provided by Rucklo, not by me!
Deadline is 11/01/2006 - 00 : 00 AM
IMPORTANT!! Guys and Gurls, those contests are based on a certain topic. You not just submit a song and presto. You SHOULD create a song that fits the theme of the contest. In this case "christmas". I noticed that some entries that aren't quite christmas like. Be aware that you could get sorted out in the FINAL JUDGEMENT list because you failed to archieve the goal with your submission. RUCKLO and LJCOFFEE got the final word here.
You can submit:
- 1 Audio for the contest (original or cover)
- 2 christmas Audios for the collection thread (originals or covers)
Alrighty ladys...last but not least the semi-final? SUBMISSION list!
New subs are "bold", so that you guys can better see what's NEW. ;)

Whooo deadline is up, y´all!
Now what will happen is that all 24 submissions will recieve a judgement. 20 was supposed to be the limit, but what the hell, four more aint htat much ;)
LJCoffee and myself have set the deadline for the judgement to be done saturday 4:th november, and it will most likley take a couple of days after that until the results are out!
So, be patient everyone :D
Also, those who were supposed to be judging, but hasn´t replied to my Judge-PM, please do so A.S.A.P, or else somone else will get to judge instead.
And that indeed do mean that we are looking for backupjudges (*sigh*)... So, if you haven´t entered the contest, and feel like you have some time to spend judging contest entries as an honourable judge, contact LJCoffee or me as soon as possible!!!! There might actually be a couple of judges that are needed... :(

Way to go to say it's a contestant. It's your own fault that it is in non-contestant atm. I'm said if they aren't marked correct, I don't accept them or I push them into non-contestant. PM Rucklo that it is your contest entry.
