The Shine Of The Flood- Bbs Story.

Gordon Kramer looked up at the moon. It seemed so close-as if he could jump to it. He sighed as the beautiful sight was covered by rainclouds, and as it started to rain. Unfolding his umbrella, he turned on his heel and walked down the side of the street, soaking the bottom of his exorcist coat as rainwater began to pool at the edges of the street. It was 1961, April 1st. Rain in the southern Americas was terrible. Gordon looked forward to returning to Exorcist headquarters, off of the coast of Norway. At least it snowed there. Gordon liked snow. Sighing once again, he gripped the innocence in his pocket. He was lucky- he had found it before an akuma had gotten it. If he found it's accomodator back at HQ, he was even luckier.

This is the opening to my BBS Story, The Shine of the Flood. It's based off of the graphic novel, D.Gray-Man, but it's not identical. I shall explain things, then accept possible sign ups.

Definitions to get you people to understand if you haven't read D.Gray-Man-

Exorcist- Member of the Black Order that opposes the Millenium Earl, the living incarnation of the devil, and his plans to destroy God, Heaven, and Good. Weild anti-akuma weapons to destroy them and exorcise their tortured souls.

Akuma- Soul trapped in a killing machine, enslaved by the Millenium Earl. Grows more powerful as it kills. Soul initially resting in peace, but brought back by loved one borrowing the power of the Earl. Soul is trapped in akuma as it is brought back.

Anti-Akuma weapon- A weapon an Exorcist uses to destroy akuma. It exists in many forms, boots, mutated body parts, weapons, even mudane things such as umbrellas! Each one is weilded by a person chosen to weild it.

Finders- Supporters of Exorcists who do not have the ability to weild anti-akuma weapons, but help the exorcists directly in their mission to destroy akuma and the Millenium Earl.

Innocence- The substance used to make anti-akuma weapons. Also exists in many different forms, and can be turned into many different things. The Millenium Earl is tring to destroy the innocence so exorcists cannot stop his evil mission.

Anti-Akuma Weapon-(Exorcists only. It can be just about anything, not a penis or a gun, the only gun possibly allowed would be a low-gauge shotgun, a rifle, or pistol. I won't have more than two people with guns, try to be creative.)
Anti-Akuma weapon Synchronization- (1% to 100%, indicates the user's mastery of their anti-akuma weapon.)

Only the initial 18 people I choose will be exorcists. Any others will be finders. IF there are more than 18 people who want to be in the story...

I am not trying to offend anyone or lash out at some people's lack of religon, I'm simply writing a story. If you have a problem, feel free to send me hate mail.

Ran away from home when he was 13, and wandered around for a few years. He was almost turned into an Akuma, but miraculously escaped his fate. Became in contact with other exorcists directly afterward, and has since hunted the Akuma.

Description and Past-
6'3", skinny, brown hair, hazel eyes. Wears a t-shirt and jeans. High metabolism & low blood sugar, so he eats constantly.

Though normally apathetic and passifistic, as a Christian, he feels a strong desire to fight the Akuma. Shuns society, does not talk unless he has something worth saying. Indecisive normally, but steadfast to a decision once he has made up his mind. Very loyal, very moral.

Anti-Akuma weapon Synchronization-

Since it appears that the Akuma are mechanical, I guess the DSP could be used as a weapon against them, so 70%. Note however, that though he is familiar with the DSP, he might NOT be familiar with the specific technology of a given Akuma, so his effectiveness thus drops. Also note that he uses technology, and technology always crashes or breaks, especially when it's homemade.

After not even being able to find a job for three years, he gives up and moves into his parents house. His fathers previous job was a exorist, so he pass's the skill on to his son. After five years of training he devotes his life to stopping the Akuma. He is a happy-go-lucky personality and seems to know any question you ask him. Gets angry very easily though.

First Night.

The trip over the Atlantic ocean to Exorcist HQ was boring. Gordon wished he that had brought something like the Science department flunkies had, but it wouldn't fit in his pack. With no fellow people who knew his cause to talk to, it was torture.
Eight hours later, Gordon pushed his way into the assignment room.
"Any reason you called me here? Don't give me a third mission in a row..."
"Yes! Your third mission!"
Groan.
"There is a strange happening going on in a city in Los Angeles area, in the United States. We suspect an innocence. You are to accompany a team of finders and try to find it. If you call, we'll send another Exorcist."
"What's happening there?"
"People have been spreading rumors about an old mansion. The children say there's a ghost in there, because the house screams at night."
"Right."
Third mission, another eight hour trip on a plane. He went downstairs and met with the finders.
"Dustin? You're from the department of research, you don't need to risk yourself."
"Yes, but I've made a little something..."
Dustin bounced a little gameboyish thing in his hands.
"...that might prove useful. I'm coming to test it out."

Ten hours later, at the San Francisco airport...

"So what exactly does that thing do, Dustin?"
"It hacks into systems, and stores data, and plays games."
"Ah, hacks?"
"I'm intending to make this thing hack into akuma artificial intellegence and self destruct. Since akuma are real living souls put into achines though, I'm really not sure if this will work, but it fuctions like a golem."
"I understand."
A white robed finder ran up.
"Sir Kramer, there is an akuma in the streets. It is wreaking..."
"Got it."
Gordon broke a window, and jumped out.
"What's he doing!? That's a two-story window! He'll be hurt!"
"No, he won't."
thought Dustin.
Gordon landed nimbly into a bush. The akuma wasn't hard to find. As usual, it was racking up it's kill total. It was deformed, it's ball shape becoming more pronounced, it's guns protuding less from it's body. Gordon rushed up to it and bashed it with his baton anti-akuma weapon. The akuma was slammed into a building, the parts where the baton had touched were burning away.
"The harmless are threatened! The helpless are dying! Invoke!"
The gray baton shimmered, and turned a brilliant white.
"Rest in peace, tortured soul!!"
Gordon thrust the baton into the akuma, the wrenching sound of gears screeched. The akuma withered away, finally leaving behind the original skeleton.
"...Thank....you...."
The skeleton burned away.
"Excellent work, Sir Kramer!"
"It was about to evolve into level two, if it did that, it would become a major problem."
"Was it after the innocence we are going to get?"
"Maybe. It's not the first according to other finder reports. Finders can't hold long against akuma, finders can barely oppose them. They can only hold them, not much destroy them. Let's hurry."
