Newgrounds Channel on TV

With the ammount of flash on this site, and how manny of them are put aside, wouldn't it be a good idea if neewgrounds had its very own television channel to showcase the top flashes? I ve come across a channel called CurrentTV that is a journalism channel with content made from its viewers... wouldn't it be awesome to have a Newgrounds channel on cable/satelite?
Maybe you guys can put some of my awesome stuff on... ? You should have an hour dedicated to everything by Dannyesloco, and play all my toons so everyone can see them and i will be rich, and so will you.

Well, some of the top flashes used copyrighted characters and songs that don't belong to them (like Maxwell's Silver Hammer), so it would be tricky. Plus, it would have to be fresh new material to keep good ratings, because if it was the same thing as seen on the computer, it would lose viewers fast. Also, I believe Jeremy Lokken tried doing this for one of his local television stations.

Maybe not a channel, but a show. It could showcase flash and show it's creator, information about it, it's score.

Newgrounds could just ignore all the copyright issues and pretend like they don't know what they are talking about, or find a way around the whole thing... look at youtube, most of the stuff on that site is illigal, yet advertisers and sponsers are jumping on it.couldn't there be a way to bend copyright laws?

That might sound like a pretty wild idea, but there would be no way for it to work. First of all, it costs a lot of money, and why do you need a TV channel for something that has already been on the internet for a long time? They do, however, give mention to Newgrounds on several occuronces. For example, they played Metal Gear Awesome, and some other flashes on Attack of the Show on G4.
