4.07 / 5.00 13,902 ViewsI was wondering how bloodspatter is done in photoshop. I keep seeing pictures with amazing bloodspatter(like the ones below, taken from the chestbursters contest), but i cant seem to replicate it properly. Could someone give me a blow by blow sequence of how it is rendered?
Just a heads up: i don't have any fancy hardware (graphic pad, pressure sensitive mouse etc) so... yeah. Also, on the note of graphic pads can anyone reccomend a good + cheap one? it would save you guys the trouble of surfing through another thread. Thanks in advance.

tablets are used to creat a blood like effects, just play around with different size brushes.
use a darker red and uh well thats it. You have to be spontaneous with the effect.
Oh yeah you can do all kinds of stuff with blood. Try some of the tuts on here. My only advice is just be creative, make random drips, make reasonable rations, and use different shades of read to shade or outline the original blood.
