Is there anyway to decompile a small web format back to the original .fla file type?

Adding to what Doomhammr said...
But it's kinda dishonest to decompile any swf that doesn't belong to you or for which you haven't received the author's permission. Some ppl could work really hard making a complicated engine for their game, only to have it ripped off, and that'd be a huge tick, I think. Meh, I'm not reaching anyone with this. Just ranting, really.

I just wanted to edit my old flash projects I just found today, why does everyone assume everyone else wants to rip things off?

I wasn't actually accusing you of that, just to be clear. I was making a general statement and in no way implying that you were intent on ripping someone off. But perhaps you were refering to the person who posted after me?

I think that most people (at leat me anyway) decompile movies to see how the author did some things, and learn off other peoples work.Anyway, if anyone submits a stolen movie on newgrounds, you can report them.

Note: Think about it...working for weeks to do your movie, only to have it stolen by some jerkoff in one day...i bet that'd piss u off too...

Maybe he lost his .fla file and wants to know how to get back his own .fla from his own .swf so he can edit it. Are you paranoid?
