I just put together the start of our 2006 Halloween collection.

Every year, we receive more and more Halloween submissions. I wanted to make this year extra special by having a contest!

The top SEVEN Halloween games and/or movies to follow our rules will win cash prizes!

FIRST-THIRD: $1,000 each
FOURTH-FIFTH: $500 each
SIXTH-SEVENTH: $250 each

You must submit by November 1st and winners will be selected by a private panel, using the existing scores as a guide. If we receive a lot of great submissions, we may even expand the prize offerings, as we have in the past for events such as Pico Day.

RULES: To enter the contest, your submission must feature the Newgrounds Pre-Loader. You must also include a special "Happy Halloween from Newgrounds.com!" message in the intro, as well as links to our Halloween collection on any menu and ending screens.

We've worked hard to nurture yearly Halloween submissions on Newgrounds, so we're hoping this contest will help share our collection with the rest of the web!

Although I set the deadline to November 1st to give artists some breathing room, please try to submit your entry by October 31st! You don't need to wait until the exact day - we'll be celebrating Halloween all month!

So if someone submits two or more of these styled flashes I'm guessing the flash with the highest score will be the one judged from that user.

Either way sounds nice, hopefully some real winners will come out of this contest to go down as legends.

I'm sure that these huge cash prizes are going to get quite a few artists working hard on their submissions for Halloween. It's great that you guys can afford to reward Newgrounds artists that well.

Does this mean we can enter into yours and Armor games? (I have already started my Armorgames one) So it'd be neat If I could submit it into this aswell.

That sounds great, I will defenitley try to do something for this.

I would so enter this contest if not for the fact that my exams are coming up around halloween, and I'll have to be studying for alot of this month.

My current thought is that maybe people should just enter their games in the AG contest and let movies take the prizes in the NG contest. I gotta give it some thought.

Make it $1001 if you want to be better than AG :P They have other bonuses too.

ive already started a game for the armorgames contest :)

I've changed the rules so the contest now only applies to MOVIES. This means everyone should have a better chance at winning prize money, between the two contests.

I´m fuckin in it babeh.
I´m preparing something awesome, like I´ve never done before.
Recorded the song and mixed it all together today and gonna start with the animations now.
I´m hoping for a positive feedback from the viewers, seeing it´ll be rather mental and disturbed.
