Oh shit, is this what you think it is? It sure as hell is.
For this round of the monthly Newgrounds "OFFICIAL" Art Contest, we're going a bit broader with the idea to entice those that aren't really into dicks...wait what.
The Rules: We're going all halloween on your ass this month, and its really simple - draw your favorite video game character as a zombie. Now, you're welcome to draw anybody you want, but if you're going the super obvious route with somebody like Mario or Master Chief it better be pretty fucking creative or you have no chance of winning. If you're 13 and don't know what an original "nintendo" is, I suggest you look up those 8-bit games for some character ideas. I'd hate to see 20 pages of shit xbox characters. Characters featured in games on newgrounds are also welcome.
What Not To Do: DO NOT post some 5 second drawing and some little comment about how it took you 5 seconds to draw it - it WILL be deleted. Most importantly, NO BLATANT TRACING. What does this mean? It means you are permitted to use any reference you want, even drawing the character roughly in the same pose. The part that will get you BANNED is tracing a drawing line for line and calling it your own. Yes, if we catch you, you will be banned and ridiculed. The art forum and these contests are meant for fun and to better your drawing skills. Tracing is for douchebags.
You are also welcome to submit as many entries as you want - but you can only win one prize per contest.
The prizes will be the same as last time:
1st: $100 + t-shirt
2nd: $75 + t-shirt
3rd: $50 + t-shirt
4th & 5th: $25 + t-shirt
5 more entries we like will also get shirts.
You have until the last day of october to post your entry.
November 1st, the winners will be announced and a new contest will begin.
