Well, I just went on a tag run with a crew member...
All I have though is a black magnum marker~~~made by sharpie
and a gold pastel----which actually works, and shows up really nice.
I still have no pictures though...

My city's downtown is soo small, it has less than 50 alley ways, it's a sad position for a teenage writer, cause I can't go anywhere else...

Anyway I look foward to hear about everyone's work and how it went, and how you did it, of coarse the best thing would be pictures to go along with it, but can't always expect it.

uh. magnum is a marker, made by sharpie.

havik, do you write havik? and you know if you get a shoe polish thing, empty it out, put a cap full of brake fluid in with some speedball ink, you got an ON THE RUN marker...super hard to buff and crazy on the drips.

No I don't write havik, thats actually the first ever name I thought of but I later found out that it was being used, but that was right when I started anyway...
What I write is --Sent--
And reffering to the speedball ink where could i pick some up, and i honestly dont know what the hell a shoe polish mop looks like...

no the whole bottle.

empty it out. take some brake fluid and fill up the cap with it and pour it in. the cap serves as a measuring cup. then get some speedball ink from your local arts and crafts store and fill the rest up with that. shake. use.

its hard to buff. extremely weatherproof. mad on the drips. its the shit.

Well since I don't have a credit card or money to use on one if I did, it's hard for me to get a hold of pro-caps... So since I'm stuck with sucker caps, I've been experimenting with them and making them into custom little spray patterns. All you have to do is mis-shape the whole into whatever you want, mess around and find a nice spray pattern. You can make them extra drippy, thick spray, straight lines, smaller spray, etc.

find someone heavy in the graffiti game and see if they will give you some. the only ones you'll ever really need are some NY fats. try and get some pink dots to. they are the widest spray available.

however if your talking about the cap to make the dripper out of shoe polish then im talkin about use the cap that comes with it. thats what i meant by it's used as a measuring cup

I got no discount lol.
Pharmaceutical stores?
you mean like Pharma Plus and shit...?
Maybe I'll just check my basement or see if a friend has some lol.
I'll still need that speedball ink though...I wonder if I could replace my magnum ink with that..?

Anyway I got a scanner, so I should be putting up some BlackBook photos...too bad nothing in my book is really worth showing off, I usually just improvise or do this one throw up of mine.
I'll at least put my tag up here...I'll expect others to too!

that is a REALLY good hand. thats all im going to say. ill wait to see your throws and peices.

if you have two hands and a pocket, you've got the five finger discount. five finger discount=steal!!!

and i meant eckerds, rite-aid, any store that just sells a whole bunch of random shit. you know what im talking about. they'll have a snack isle. a office supply isle. a holiday isle. its bigger then a dollar store, smaller then a acme. it usually has a pharmacy in the back.

and sharpie ink isnt the right kind. im talking super industrial strength. like shit that is made for "art" and whatnot. if you have a Michaels (not Mitchels) around, they'll have it. MICHAELS is THE best spot for decocolor paint pens for black books along with some low grade drippers, prisma colors, and you could probaly get that magnum there too.

uhhhh. yeah....

actually that N is a little weird on your tag. it's a little too big and messes up the flow.

I am going to agree with you guys, but you also have to understand that I did that with a super thin crayola marker--the stuff I colour in my Blackbook with---
So it doesn't have the chisel effect and it came out choppy because of that...

Anyway here's another one of mine---I didn't put it up before because I didn't want to double post...I also have a few more of them but I still don't want to double post, unless it's ok...?

I inverted the colours in paint to make it look better as the marker was uneven

double post all you want, it lets us see your pics and it keeps us on the first page...

thats a good S, make the E overlap the S, N is fine, T is fine. underline isnt though. make it like your other hand. also try and add a halo over it, a star on the left and an arrow on the right.

Ok, I'll try it out-and since I can double post I'll just put up everything I've scanned so far
3 more pics-2 of them are tag things--
And the other is a throw up of mine-it's a little rough around the edges but that's just pencil anyway...

look back like a page or two. i explained the name choosing thingy. i suppose i can explain it again.

graffiti is all about flow. if you cant flow your shit, it sucks. a good, easy letter curves at the top and/or bottom.

aAcCeEMnORsSUy

then when you get better some still easy but tougher letters are

LNTtVD

it doesnt even have to be a word, you can make it up
