..obviously the work of "Army of the Twelve Monkeys" ..hmm, now where's my book on apocalyptic catastophy by Nostadamus gone?
Honestly, i don't know how the Doctors can spin it down like, "nothing to ph33r, koz we don't what it is yet?"
Geez, they make it sound like 30 - 40 hospital staff in two seperate countries were standing over this coughing patient saying "ooh ahh, like what's that?!"
my opinion ..the world has never seen any such "unknown killer disease" spread so far and fast before - i'm quite sure of it! I'll stand by my countries Priminister (Helen Clark) who at least gives this as much news-worthyness as some self-made War.

Yup, it is too bad that AIDS thing we infected the Aficans with did not work out in killing all of them... we would have some nice zebra skin imports now if it had.

I heard it was related to pneumonia, and linked to long haul flights. Or maybe that's ANOTHER new killer illness originating from China.
That would explain that bug i had for two weeks when I came back from Singapore - in '96. New? Those darn scientists aren't looking hard enough...

Africa is dying from Aids (where have you been dude?)
As for NORTH Korea, if this thing is being spread far and wide, then a closed country without major tourism (like Nth Korea) is probably the safest place to be living at the moment..

I meant fast enough... Africa still has a lot of hope. Every year substantial AIDS research is done. This year's AIDSVax, the first ever AIDS vacine, while failing for the large part, was reported to help black people live much longer in a report by the FDA.

..i don't mean to party poop it mate, BUT do you really think that the color of your skin will make for a better treatment by some Man-Made-Vaccine?
HONESTLY, I'VE NEVER HEARD ANYTHING SO RIDICULOUS IN ALL MY LIFE...
Biotech firm to pursue AIDS vaccine for minorities
Quote: "Even if further study shows the vaccine to be more beneficial to African-Americans than some others in the United States, that may not be relevant to people in Africa."
..Why were they even monitoring race in their statistical survey? Race is barely 1 gene in our chromosome makeup, and has NEVER been a factor in medicine EVAR BEFORE! ...so blacks are taking more precatuitions is all that can really be derived from such stupid results.
-Oh yeah, and additional funding for the labs on something that doesn't even help save Western Wealthy Whites.
** very synical of biotech companies **

Paramyxoviruses?
Parainfluenzaviruses and RSV produce acute respiratory diseases (c.f. influenza)
Pneumovirus: Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) "Infects man, monkeys and some rodents with disease production, but inapparent infections (resulting in spread of virus) may occur in many mammals."
---------------------------------
hmmm, shouldn't this be a warning for the consumption of monkeys in Asian and African countries..?

Oh well, they shouldn't be out having dozens of children and shunning contraception. Hell, we've supplied it, but it's against their 'religious views'. Imagine how much more money the U.S. would have!
