"Cheese eating surrender monkeys!" - Matt Groenig, I hope that they are happy. Now the United States has to go it alone with only a handful of countries. Don't people see that Western Appeasement didn't work for Hitler, and sure as hell won't work for Saddam!
How many Frenchmen does it take to defend France?
No one knows, they've never done it before.

umm...what are we appeasing? iraq didn't attack anyone this time (beside their own people). the Nazis were appeased. saddam hussein has never been appeased for any reason. and the whole French joke is just not tasteful. no wait, aren't they called freedom jokes now?

Seriously, France hasn't been a world power since World War I. They're insignificant, the US will go in with UK, Spain, Italy, and probably a few other countries...which is more than enough.

Any country with a nuclear arsenal becomes a power in this day and age, by the way. Just because your red-neck president is meeting opposition regarding the farce the Iraqi issue has become, you've no reason to insult other democratic states refusing to take part. That goes for all those in favor of war, with smart comments about France and the rest of the EU. You'd do well to remember that without France, you'd be filling up your gas tanks with petrol and eating a side of chips with your burgers. Never mind that the only attractive landmark in New York now is the Statue of Liberty (A gift of the French)... wouldn't it be a shame if that got nailed by an airliner as well? Just be careful what you wish for.

Rather than pick apart that whole message, I'm just going to let you assume you're the king of this forum, and you're witty too.
Hey, you know what they say, don't let the facts ruin your opinion.

Fascist typically don't whine about not going to war. You're thinking of La Pen.

Haha, it was kind of funny how their election, was, in their eyes: Super Fascist vs. ULTRA MEGA Fascist, whereas the rest of the world viewed it as Moderate vs. Middle Right.
La Pen did have some crazy ideas, though.

It's not. They can do it by themselves, no problem, but this war has made a lt of the world anti-american. Wheather this is fair or unfair this is the way things are on our side of the pond.
The Americans have alreay lost this war, diplomatically.

Incorrect, on many levels. I don't know what's defames you more...your total lack of basic language skills, or your total lack of basic common knowledge. In any event, do some research next time.

Ruination: Dude, I was so going to say the same thing....weird. Anyhow....
france a democracy, last time I heard their pretty close to a socialist society.
Socialism is an economic idea, democracy is a social system idea. They are compatible, in fact, as Capitalism gives an unequal distribution of wealth, and wealth equates to power Capitalism is not compatible with democracy.
Anyone notice how NEMISISZ responded but didn't actually say anything?

Yeah, I took note of that... Give him some credit though, it is extremely hard to defend a point of view that is so corrupted and without merit.

Ok then.. I'm not the type who gets kicks out of flashing his headlights in front of an epileptic.
All I said before is that September 11 was not at all merited. This time though is much different since it is America who is declaring war. The consequences of such will be yours, as a nation, to assume.
By the way, I'm not trying to adopt a "mightier than thou" attitude with you or anyone else. Just trying to get a point across, like you are.

OK, im sick and tired of the fucking french jokes...
lets not forget we begged them to help us during the revolution. and to all the assholes that think the freedom fries idea is great, french fries were made in belguim, when the fries got to the US the guy named them wrong.
i want to know why we are all making fun of a country that finally got sick and tired of letting the US push them around, god forbid anyone develops a backbone against the US...
also the 'coalition of the willing' is a fucking joke, the people of britian and spain and vastly against this, and if the leaders help it could very well be the end of their careers...
i enjoy the fact that the US and any country that attacks iraq will be in violation of the UN, the very thing we are going to attack iraq for doing, so in conclusion:
france = reason the US is not Canada
french fries = made in belguim, named wrong by American
american cheese = called 'idiot cheese' by france
war with iraq = violation of UN = what saddam is doing
saddam killing own people = turkey and israel do too

Thats true in world war one during the nievele offense when the French army mutineed against its upper officers, not so sure about world war 2. I'm not a big fan of the french myself though. Abunch of self-indulgent pigs if you ask me...like los angeles.

btw when Amercans saved france they got soroundet by german forces so Red Army(Russia) had to turn from road to Berlin and go to France to save american army that was pinned doun by NAzI's
And saying that french didn't fight isn't correct. They had a large partisan war against the germans
Trigger happy redneck American monkeys!

That's true. France and Los Angeles are a lot alike. The reason I dislike France is because they're staying out of the war because of their personal business interests. When business clouds the moral obligations of a leader, then he shouldn't get any respect for himself of his nation.
