Speaking of cats... Tom does love cats, on his desk he has one of those digital picture frames thats on slideshow and it has like all those trendy lol and lmao pwnd pics involving cats.

I have a cat named Muffin. I adopted her, and in return she eats my cat food that I leave out in dishes. If left unintended, she also checks the durability of the front door by running full force at it.

I really want a cat, they're great :D

When i get my own flat I'm having a cat and a computer.

cats suck, it's all about bulldogs/ any other dogs.

At home I have myself two cats named Rocky and Popoki, and a floppy old dog named Cappy. But now that I'm at school I can't have pets in the dorm. Maybe, when I get a house next year I'll be able to get something...maybe. Pets are great.

Is there a way to see your 'sent PMs' on Newgrounds? I can't seem to locate the button...

I'm pretty worried, what should I do, I know nothing about the audio licensing terms... I assumed if it was on the audio portal, you could use it.

Can someone give me an insight on the law side of things here?

That's no way to treat someone who made the audio. I think he pointed out the situation in a polite and normal manner, the least the flash creator could have done was notify him that he was going to use his song. It's not a matter of who stands in their right legally, it's more a matter of the right moral behavior.

So you submit them to Newgrounds free of charge. And then Newgrounds releases them under BY-SA-NC. Which allows me the legal right under creative commons to use all your SWF files as I see fit.

Heh, you're right. I don't see the morality in demanding money when he submitted to NG knowing full well that the song could be used in a flash, although now I think of it there may be something in the license that means he cant use the song if he gets paid or something.. >_<

I don't think it's fair that Namco could sue someone for using a preloader minigame, if the creator of the game wasn't aware it was patented... and even so, it's a silly patent. How do you define a preloader minigame?

Audio Portal
I always ask so I don't get these problems :3
But I seem to remember that anything in the audio portal is free to use, even if it does have the creative commons licensing stuff on it. Besides, I doubt the owner of that music track would have the balls to take legal action. Just send him a t-shirt and a hug or something :)

Does anyone know what the keycode is for the mouse button ON MACS? Apparently my mouse-based games don't work on them and I think the reason is that it's a different keycode.

New Tablet PC- zo mg!
I'm writing this post from my new toy. Apparently, I can't write as fast as loan type. Anyway, will have some pics of it soon. Soon as I've installed Flash and got the premise sensitivity part of it to demonstrate.

However, as you can see, for the most part, the handwriting recognition system is pretty reliable. Think I'll be unity this at work to take notes.

I've already earned Luis' eternal hatred for buying a tablet with a computer inside it methinks!

loan and unity came out wrong but for the most part that's really accurate. Hope you enjoy it :)

Worst comes to worst with the audio problem you can remove his song from all the files you still have control of and just use a different one.

You're only legally required to remove it from things you personally submitted (i.e sponsor+ng+other upload sites) so it wouild be a pain but not that big of an ordeal if he feels he needs to press the matter further.
